I used to wonder why the author called them "androids" when they are clearly almost Full Cyborgs, almost, as in 18's case, the evil Doctor let her keep her womb and ovaries, which can be a weak point for a woman in a fight. Since he was not the altruistic type, I can only conclude that he thought natural hormones are healthier for the brain, which needed to be kept in maximum sharpness. Or, most likely of all, the author retconned her βstillβ having her womb to give her a better excuse to stick around. I think she was so popular that he felt pressured to add her to the team after she was redeemed, but she was a mercenary when she was fully biological, or so I have gathered, and women who do that are not particularly social, so simply fancying Krillian wasnβt enough. But, even if she still has her reproductive organs, I would think she could directly control if she could get pregnant or not, as preventing any heat from energy weapons from reaching inside here would require her being able to tightly seal her entrance....
....hmmπ€ ohπ³ maybe she stuck around because only a superhuman could screw her new body without getting his dick crushed! She went with Krillien because he was both the least weird and decently cute, perhaps having a child with him to cement their relationship beyond the superficial.
