Another collab with DreamIsNotLife. [link]I did the drawing and she coloured it.
Aaulin was tired (and jealous) of seeing his little brother in the arms of
another and therefore has decided to show off his talents to try to
impress Aorev, and Elryndil at the same time. He tries to make him
understand that he is the best and that Elryndil can't compete with him in
this way. Elryndil is very good at contortion but not at waist cinching. Only
Aaulin and Aorev are good at it. Aaulin tries to be the only one for Aorev,
he tries to impress him. He wants his little brother to love him more than
anybody else, even if this isn't necessary, because it's already the case.
But Aaulin is easily jealous. ^-^

More cinching. Ouch! But, I have to admit that he does look rather elegant doing it. It's unbelievable how tranquil he looks while doing it. I think if I tried, I'd have this really pained expression of 'why can't I just be done with this' look on my face.

Thank you very much for your very kind words ! :3 I always try to draw Aaulin with a peaceful expression and an elegant pose. He's a quite gracious elf and pretty much seductive so I need to find more elegant poses like this one. ^-^

I really really love this style! The coloring matches your style perfectly that at first I thought everything here was done by one artist, the colors look very organic with the sketch!
Speaking of the drawing itself, I just love the silky scarf he's using for the dance, it looks very soft and airy and I love how it's wrapped around the waist like that, must feel sooo much better than rough leather belts that I'm used to put on my own boys XD
Silly Aaulin has to fight for his brother's attention but otherwise we wouldn't get to see this picture, right? :3 Awesome pose, by the way! With his waist cinched he'd be probably limited to just splits...maybe he could truly impress his brother if he attempted a backbend while cinching at the same time. Or maybe Aorev himself could attempt something like that since he's good with both of these things X3

Maybe I should try to colour some of my drawings with colour pencils instead of just doing black and white shadings.
I love doing that kind of scarf for Aaulin, since he's a rather elegant elf this fits him quite well. I'm really glad you like it !
I thought of drawing him doing a backbend but I didn't do it because I thought it wouldn't be easy at all, but since he's very limber and able to do extreme poses, maybe he could try. I'll see if I can do a backbend with waist cinching. ^-^
This won't be a piece of cake for me though. ^.^'
Aorev is very limber too, maybe a bit more than his brother, but not as good as Aaulin at waist cinching. Aaulin is better at it than Aorev at the moment. But maybe one day the little one will outdo the older one. ^-^

I'd be more than happy to see color pencils from you or maybe even real watercolors! Except I guess it's not as comfortable as pencils: pencils you can use in school and just about anywhere easily, while for watercolors you'd have to find time to sit and completely dedicate yourself to drawing.
As for the backbend, he could just try, maybe it won't work out but who knows, maybe it will look interesting and different ^^ But maybe you're right and it will be too hard..
Oh and I just love Aorev, I'm very intrigued to see what else he will do in the future. He's a very passionate boy and it's so nice to watch his progress ^-^ <3

In this case, I'll try to do a little something tomorrow and see if my skills at colouring with pencils are still there. ^.^
Before, I was used to colour my drawings traditionally, without any software. But then, I discovered how to use Photoshop an Paint Tool Sai and never try to colour my drawings traditionally again. But I think the result could be nice in fact. I just hope I still know how to colour well with pencils. ^-^
For the backbend, it seemed very hard to do, but I still could give it a try and see if it's possible. I may use your recent artwork about how the organs are placed in the body when using tight belts. I think this will help me a lot !
