Description
A fan art of Van Fanel, King of Fanelia, from the series Escaflowne. ٩(♡ε♡ )۶A friend of mine showed me the series and I like it a lot! I'm usually not a big fan
of mecha but I have to admit that I like this series a lot. Escaflowne is very well
done and beautiful! The characters have very nice designs and background stories
and the musics are wonderful, specially the choruses.
I haven't finished the series yet but love it so far! I watched half of it and can't wait
to see what's gonna happen next! ╰( ･ ᗜ ･ )╯
My illustration is a reproduction of Van in the second episode . I liked the pose he
was in and wanted to draw it in my own style. The background of my drawing is
from the anime.

Another Escaflowne image! I used to think Allen and Van made a sexy couple- except, like most fans, I actually like Hitomi and feel she and Van go great together.

This is a series I didn't watch myself but always saw a lot of art of and always was curious to watch. But it was so many years ago that by now I even forgot! So thank you for reminding me, now I might actually watch it! :3 And also thanks for sharing the beautiful art of Van, I love a lot his hair in your style and his hairstyle looks quite new and refreshing, I love that a lot! ^.^ He's got a really pretty face that totally matches the style of hair like this, yet it's not one of those regular anime faces that you see every day everywhere, it's original AND beautiful, which is rare and great! ^.^ <3

Ooh yeah you should totally watch it! It's a really beautiful series with wonderful musics, great characters and nice designs. The mechas are very well done, specially Escaflowne, and the relationship between the characters are also very interesting. It's worth it!
