Description
For me, this is one of the most beautiful villages that I've ever saw. It's even more beautiful that "The Shire" from Lord of the Rings. The whole place is like a fairy tale and everytime I went there and photographed it, I discovered new places because the village occupies a pretty big surface. The name of this wonderful place is Bilbor and it's located in Harghita county, Romania. Enjoy the view!

E una din cele mai frumoase fotografii pe care le-am văzut în galeria ta și mă bucur mult pentru că ai primit atâtea favuri! Sunt pe deplin meritate! AM trecut şi eu prin apropierea Bilborului, dar nu am avut timp să mă bucur de perisaj sau să explorey zona, deoarece eram într-un circuit. Şi ştii cum sunt ghizii din circuite, nu se abat de la locurile pe care le au pe lista de obiective. Sper să mai trec odată pe acolo!

Ma bucur tare mult ca iti place atat de tare! Pacat ca nu ai reusit sa vezi Bilborul. Eu ma intorc acolo aproape de fiecare data cand sunt in zona. Si anul asta vreau sa ajung inapoi sa invat satul pe de rost ca sa pot sa urc in cele mai inalte puncte ale lui ca sa pot prinde macar un rasarit si un apus acolo.
Iti recomand sa mai treci pe acolo. Si nu cu ghid. Mergi pe cont propriu ca sa ai timp sa explorezi locul. Acum drumul e foarte bun pe acolo(comparativ cu drumul vechi pe care nu puteai merge fara un SUV/jeep)

Mulțumesc de sfat și îți doresc să ajungi acolo anul acesta. Eu anul acesta sigur nu pot, din cauza examenului de Evaluare Națională, "capacitatea". Am puţină vacanţă şi va trebui să stau în oraş pentru a îndeplini formalităţile şi a învăţa bine zona liceului, dar sper că voi putea ajunge anul următor.

I was just thinking "Where are the hobbits?" when I got to that part about the Shire in your description.

Well, "the hobbits" that live in that place are really kind people. All of them are like that and they help each other a lot. They're a community as I rarely saw. Thank you so much for appreciating! Indeed, all that place looks like it's taken from fairy tales.

I'm sorry to hear that. Humans don't really know when to stop polluting the environment...
But you virtually can take always some "fresh air" from photos like this one.
I'm at 400 kilometers from the place that you see here, but if I imagine a bit, I can always feel that strong and pure air invading my lungs.

Mi se pare amuzant ca desi sunt din Romania si stiu foarte bine unde este Harghita inca imi vine greu sa cred ca acesta este o poza reala de la noi

Iti multumesc mult pentru apreciere, Iulia! Romania e un loc cu totul spectaculos! Si nu o zic doar eu. Cunosc fotografi americani care vin special in tara ca sa o fotografieze. Poate ca nu avem cea mai spectaculoasa economie, dar daca am dezvolta turismul, fii sigura ca multi si-ar dori sa isi faca vacantele pe la noi.
Iar satul pe care l-am fotografiat aici e cumva unic. La modul ca am vazut majoritatea satelor din tara, dar prea putine ca si cel din imagine. O sa mai pun fotografii cu el sa vezi mai multe unghiuri si cata diversitate ofera locul acela din punct de vedere vizual.
