I've made this painting this afternoon for my drawing class
We had to do something with a memory from one's youth. I had made a drawing like this before, and I wanted to make a better one. This is the old one: [link] The black thing is a boat, an optimist. xD
A little less than an hour, I don't know what kind of paint, on a3 paper. Reference used for the background

Very beautiful, but the colours of the sky seem to go in opposite order than they should- the lightest tones should be down close to the water, while the blue and dark tones should be upper in the sky. The reflection on the water is quite correct though, the water is very well done

Yeah, I know... though, I've drawn this from reference, and on the reference it was like this as well, and it didn't really seem strange

seriously though., I like the sky and the background. I don't think the reflection on the water came out very well.., but that's just me. I have no right to talk, I couldn't do anything like this in a lifetime. In all, nice work

Grappig dat je dat zegt, ik was die eerst vergeten, en toen dacht ik 'er klopt iets niet' en toen keek ik nog eens goed en toen ging ik die nog even maken xD Maar daar zou het wel door kunnen komen, want ik had geen zin meer enzo xD

dit is niet helemaal mijn ding..
en eigenlijk denk ik dat je dit mooier had kunnen maken als je er meer tijd aan had [kunnen] besteed
en als het verf op waterbasis was, was het leuk geweest wat meer water in het water te gebruiken, het lijkt namelijk niet echt vloeibaar waar dat schip op vaart

Over dat het mooier had gekund, je hebt helemaal gelijk.

Het heeft iets heel clichΓ©s, maar stiekem maakt dat het ook wel weer mooi. De kleuren zijn echt prachtig!

Leuk dat je nu het verschil kan zien.
Schitterende kleurcombinaties! Paars mt geel vloekt normaal gesproken maar ziet er echt hier echt vet uit!

its vary cool i like the way the warm colors just swirl together i could never do that. but on the edges im starting to see another pic you may want to clean up the edges around but anyways its beautiful.
