We drove for 3 hours today to this amazing destination, walked a few kilometres, waited for the hordes of tourists to leave, set the camera up on a precaurious outcrop of rock, changed the settings to get the camera ready for a 7 exposure HDR, got three shots away and...... BATTERY EXSAUSTED!!!! Do you believe it?! ...and my back up... also flat! Devistated! So here's the one result of a whole days effort, no need to point out the featurless waterfall.. Thanks for adding me to your feature, I'm honoured to be amongst such a fine collection of work! HDR is an obsession for me at the moment too... it just makes the most ordinary places look amazing, the world is full of photo opportunities for me now!

Wow Thanks Augedman, what a great response!... Natural Arch is in the Springbrook National Park in the Numinbah Valley near the Queensland New South Wales border: about an hour’s drive from the Gold Coast. Glad you like it, did you read my sob story in the artist comments? What a day!

Thanks! It was a classic case of cracked lens like we talked about, we had to jump the fence and run away from the terrible touristy types so we could soak up some nature.. and they were all like 'mummy, she's jumping the fence, that's naughty isn't it!' oh dear!
