[Arrogant] He sees himself as better than others, and is definitely not afraid to say it. Ryoji openly admits his importance and how he is better than others. He believes that since his father is one of the first chosen to be a representation of the secondary Light powers that he is able to receive more. He over exaggerates the extent of his importance, but thinks that everyone should respect him. He knows he can do so much better than other cats, and is very full of himself.

[Protective] The kit is very protective over his family, and though he is mean to them, when someone else teases them, he can get very protective. He won’t let any nonsense pass whatsoever when it comes to his tribe and family. Only he’s allowed to do such things to them, but no one else. Anyone else with receive a very angry Ryoji at their paws, and have to deal with him personally.

[Self-Confident] Ryoji is very confident in himself and his abilities. He believes that whatever he wants to do, he can do. He knows that he is ‘worth’ more than others. He trusts very highly in his judgement and his judgement alone, and this can lead him to be overpowering and annoying. He has great hope in himself, and knows he can do anything.

[Bossy] This kit isn’t afraid of righting himself as highest in the hierarchy, and isn’t afraid of bossing others around. It stems from him thinking he’s better than others, so he thinks that it’s only natural if they listen to him also. He truly believes that whatever he says should go, and so feels used to being able to boss others around. He usually doesn’t get away with it, though he tries his hardest to make his siblings do what he wants.

[Loyal] Even with his weaknesses, Ryoji has an undying loyalty to those around him. He can definitely always be counted on to try his hardest and give his best, or always be there for others. As a kit he feels extremely loyal to his family and his parent’s tribes, and though young, believes he would die for them, though he doesn’t understand the extent he’s saying it to. He’ll do anything for those he feels loyal too, especially his tribe and family.

[Fractious] Ryoji enjoys picking fights or riling up other cats. He finds it amusing when others get frustrated easily and mad at him, though he has yet to accept that he gets frustrated and irritated just as easily. He picks fights to try to find a way to deal with his emotions and his temper. If an opportunity shows itself, he’ll take the chance to quarrel with others; usually just others of his own age.

Kit || Kite was born to the Orange-Fire, Palette, and the Secondary Yellow-Light, Damek, with his two siblings, Oriole and Petrel. Here he grew in the Fire Tribe camp until he would receive his tattoo.

When his parents, Damek and Palette, grew apart Kite also grew apart from them. He became angry with his mother and father, partly because he looked up to Damek so much, and he blames them both. At this point in time he can't wait to leave Fire-Tribe, and with his Ceremony of Light coming up, he can only hope he isn't placed in Light-Tribe or Fire-Tribe.

At his Ceremony of Light, Kite is excited to be chosen by the Water-Spirit, and he quickly grabs onto his true name, Ryoji, relishing in the fact that the last thing that tied him to his parents was gone. After Ryoji's tattoo appeared on his shoulder, Palette came to give him a parting gift, from both her and his father. He was hesitant in receiving them, but decided to wear the collar Palette had so diligently crafted. The blessed earring that had been Damek's was another story, and he is still deciding what to do with it. Though not caring for his parents much, he still finds their gifts nice and hopes to craft the blessed earring onto another piece of jewelry.

Hearing her paws come up beside him, he gazed at the white fur that blended into the rest of her pelt. Flinching as she pressed her muzzle to his shoulder, he forced himself to not move from the touch. It was so reassuring, and confident, it pained him. He wanted to make Palette happy, but he did not want kits. Body tense and almost as if it were ready to flee, he kept his eyes away from hers, trembling.

The tom knew her words spoke with truth. He had seen the way kits changed lives and lit up faces. They were definitely a positive risk, but what if something went wrong with the birthing? What if they all died? He wasn’t sure if he could handle that. It was too big of a risk, and even though he had not seen a she-cat die while giving birth yet, he had heard of the tales and how sad it was. You didn’t just lose your mate, but the kin that shared your blood. ”I-I just…”

Shaking his head, he moved away again, feeling as if he didn’t deserve Palette’s touch; her warmth. He was going to deny her something she loved all because he was too selfish and scared to lose them. ”I can’t.” Turning his head away, Damek closed his dark eyes tightly, thoughts swirling in his mind. Murmuring, his voice was low and quiet. ”I just need some time…” Bringing a pained gaze to hers, he took a few fleeting steps away from her again. Tilting his broad head downwards, he didn’t give Palette another glance as his paws carried him back in the direction of Light-Tribe.
