Cure Diamond (Rikka Hishikawa) an adorable, cute, sometimes introvert and quiet, intelligent, studious, mature, serious, kind, no-nonsense, kind, gentle, brave and responsible girl, who is one of Mana’s childhood best friends, always so supportive of her and obviously keeping an eye on her to make sure that she doesn’t get in trouble, helping her in school and also making sure that she isn’t “too kind” with other people, in fear that they may take advantage of her kindness and naivety. In the beginning of the series, Jonathan also gives her an special charm although she tells Mana that she shouldn’t accept gifts from strangers until Mana convinces her to keep it and in the second episode, she is the victim of one of the villains and because she didn’t believe Mana at first that she was a Pretty Cure, she sees her transforming infront of her and suddenly she jumps into action transforming into a Pretty Cure and helping Cure Heart to defeat the monster and together they start babysitting Ai. During the series, she is rude and serious at the beginning but she softens a little and becomes an awesome, cool, brave, assertive and determinant heroine and fights alongside her friends in order to save her world and the Trump Kingdom and she even dreams to become a doctor like her mother with the help of her companion Rakeru.
She lives with her mother, a doctor and with her father, a photographer, so she almost doesn’t see her parents a lot and she develops romantic feelings for Ira, when she saves him and cares for him in order to help him heal and feel better.
I like Rikka a lot, maybe not one of my favorite Blue Pretty Cures, but she is a nice girl who gives her best in everything she does and she keeps moving on and helping others to give their best in everything they do, so I guess she is ok for me.
