Description Okay, this is another drawing that another DeviantArt user requested about another of my favorite Disney childhood movies, which I remember watching a lot every time my sister and I went to visit my grandparents and my grandmother always made us popcorn to watch this movie and I admit that as a child this was one of my favorite Disney animal couples. This film that I am going to talk about is called: “Lady And The Tramp”, whose story its creator was inspired by his real-life dog, directed by Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson and Hamilton Luske, produced by Walt Disney and released in 1955. This is the story of a cocker spaniel named Lady, who lives a life full of love and pampering by her owners Jim Dear and Darling, lives in a nice neighborhood with her neighbors Jock and Trusty, a couple of old dogs who are very good friends with Lady, until one day, her life changes radically when she finds out that her owners are about to have a baby and she meets a stray dog named Tramp, who tells her that her life will change when the baby arrives and that her owners stop paying attention to her although her friends tell her that it is not true and when the baby arrives, her owners assure her that she is still part of the family, but with the departure of her owners for a vacation, her owners leave her and the baby in the care of Aunt Sarah, an eccentric and bitter old woman who hates dogs and has two Siamese cats who get Lady into trouble, causing Aunt Sarah to take her to a pet store to have her put a muzzle on her and terrified, Lady ends up escaping and being chased by three feral dogs, but luckily she is saved by Tramp, who helps her remove her muzzle and the two gradually get to know each other, having a romantic dinner with spaghetti Bolognese at Tony’s and the next day, when Tramp suggests Lady run away together and have a life together, she refuses to abandon her family and after a crazy chicken chase in which Tramp involves Lady, she ends up being captured by the dog catcher and taken to the dog pound, where she finds out that Tramp had several love affairs and feeling heartbroken, upon leaving from there, Jock and Trusty offer her to give her the chance to live with one of them after what happened and she kindly rejects their offer and gets angry confronting Tramp telling him that she doesn't need him to protect her and right after Tramp leaves a rat enters the house to the baby's room and Tramp bravely manages to kill it before it can harm the baby but unfortunately Aunt Sarah thinks the dogs tried to harm the baby and calls the pound to take Tramp away, but thanks to Lady stepping in to show her owners what happened, Jock and Trusty manage to stop the cart carrying Tramp to the dog pound, though Trusty ends up getting hurt and at the end of the movie, Lady and Tramp have their puppies since Tramp was adopted into Lady's family.
This is one of my favorite movies as a child, as I remember many times it made me laugh but it also made me cry and my favorite scene of all is the scene in the restaurant when Lady and Tramp are enjoying a delicious pasta with Tony and Joe singing to them a beautiful and romantic song and I remember that I always really liked how Tramp shows Lady that he is really in love with her by fighting against the rat to protect the baby (that rat always gave me nightmares and like the three feral dogs that chase Lady in the alley, I was always afraid of those scenes) and I would always cry when poor Lady as a puppy was left locked in the room to sleep alone and when Trusty apparently dies stopping the wagon, but other than that, it’s a heartwarming movie as in the end, Tramp leaves the life of a stray dog behind to start a family with Lady having three cute little dogs identical to their mother and a playful mischievous puppy identical to Tramp named Scamp. It's a nice movie that makes me relive my childhood and remember how much I liked watching it at my grandparents' house over and over again because I enjoyed it so much.
