Very well, continuing with my Halloween drawings, this drawing below is of a movie that I really enjoyed watching on Halloween every time it was shown on Cartoon Network, along with other movies in the “Month of Fear” and I was looking forward to seeing the movie and I admit that although it is not at the level of “Scooby-Doo On Zombie Island”, the story is dark and full of intrigue and like the previous installment, the gang faces the supernatural again, finding themselves in mortal danger, although it also has the occasional moment of comedy and fun, despite being a horror film. This movie I'm talking about is called: “Scooby-Doo And The Witch's Ghost”, which is the second installment of the franchise released direct to video and also being broadcast on Cartoon Network and it is a movie that I quite enjoy because of its animation, the plot, the characters and above all, the music, because it has very good and entertaining songs which I have on my playlist on Spotify. This movie is about after the gang solves a new mystery by catching a criminal, a horror writer named Ben Ravencroft invites them all to his hometown at Oakhaven in Massachusetts, asking for their help in finding his ancestor's diary, Sara Ravencroft, telling them that Sara was accused of being a witch and explains that Sara was a healer with Wiccan blood and that he wants to find her diary to prove to everyone that Sara was a good person and while Fred, Daphne and Velma help Ben search for the diary's whereabouts, Shaggy and Scooby go exploring on their own, when Scooby finds a buckle near an old oak tree and gives it to his friends and later, Shaggy and Scooby meet three girls dressed in gothic clothes and who give the impression of being witches, although in reality they form a musical band called "The Hex Girls", but Scooby and Shaggy think they are witches and run away from them, when suddenly, they are chased by the ghost of a witch and when they tell this to the others, Fred and Daphne decide to keep an eye on the three girls to make sure they are not witches, Velma and Ben go to look for the diary and Shaggy and Scooby dedicate themselves to keeping watch for suspects, when they are attacked and chased again by the ghost witch, but thanks to a plan by Velma, they manage to capture and unmask the witch, revealing that it was actually Thorn's father and it is discovered that some people in the town were behind the mystery and Ben, angry, reproaches them for using the image of Sara for their convenience and later, Velma discovers that the diary was buried under the old oak tree where Scooby found the buckle and when everyone goes to the oak tree, Scooby digs up the diary and to everyone's surprise, Ben lies to them telling them that it is actually a book of spells and in reality, Sara is a witch and by reading a spell in the book, he frees Sara Ravencroft and proposes that they conquer the world together, but Sara is only interested in taking revenge on those who locked her in the book and destroy everyone and working as a team, the gang manages to take the book from Ben and Velma tells Thorn to read a spell to imprison Sara again, since she also has Wiccan blood and upon reading the spell, Sara and Ben are imprisoned in the book and in the end, The Hex Girls perform a concert together with Scooby and the gang playing instruments on stage.
The truth is that this movie may not have been as scary as its predecessor, although I must say that I had a good time watching it and above all, I really enjoyed the songs of The Hex Girls and their designs and what a surprise to find out about that these girls make appearances in other seasons of Scooby Doo and I must say that at first I thought that Ben was a good boy and not a crazy man who wanted to conquer the world and in the end he gets what he deserves by staying locked in the book along with Sara and although this movie is not as scary as the previous one, it is very entertaining to watch and enjoy on Halloween. 😈👿👹👺🤡👻💀☠️🎃🧌🧛🏻‍♀️🧛🏻🧛🏻‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟🧟‍♂️
