Fourth study. I'm getting back into the hang of using charcoal, as well as taking my time and making things count. I cut off the detailing when I started getting short on time, but I really like how it turned out.

really good. is it only charcoal used or is there another material involved?

I used a 4b charcoal pencil and a 4b compressed charcoal stick... I might have used a chamoise cloth to smear around some tone early in the drawing, but after that was a whole lot of using my hand and finger to smudge, and erasers to lighten tones and make highlights.
