Description
So as you can see here, Ive begun the finished pencils. I figured I'd show the process because a few people requested it.I should note that I don't really have the capacity for this level of detail in most cases. So Im choosing to stop here and let it cool off for a few days, otherwise I'll just end up rushing through it.
anybody got any suggestions about what the tomb stone should read?

I love it and as the others have said I can't wait to see the finished picture. I can think of three names for the tomb stone depending on the mood you want to set...Pure comic book cover opera? Her own name. Angry vengeful story? Adam Van Helsing her lover whoes now dead in the series. A little sad revernce? Forest J Akerman her creator who has died in real life.

I've just got the idea recalling of one or two Lady Death arts where the goddess haunts a cemetery at night, by I don't remember at the moment which penciller, who made a self-joke on himself pencilling his own name plus fake living dates onto a grave.
Found that very funny hahaha ! I wonder if it wasn't Mike Deodato Jr...?
You could add a funny epitaph thereafter (?).
I don't think so, but even... precisely, it would make unaware people wonder about it and remind your real name afterwards !

Might be a bit late with this idea but, with the way she is touching the toumbstone, I would almost say something like "Here lies my Beloved..." with the rest obscured behind her back.

great lines, the lips look wonderful, I always have the hardest time with them. as for the stone, since most of it is covered by her body Id make it simple with no date of death or one wrote in blood for today ... just my 2cents

Wow, that's freakin' beautiful! Your rough pencils are far better than any of my finished pieces. Awesomeness!
On the tombstone, I am not clever enough to think of anything amusing or profound. How about:
"If you're reading this, there's something wrong with you."?
Or...
"Yeah, I'm rock hard, too."
Knowing me, I'd put "Here lies your heart and wits, stolen by Vampirella's t***..." or something cheesy like that. It's quite a mouthful, but so is Vampy's... um... *ahem* ...anyway.

Not sure I have much to offer on the tombstone....but for what its worth this is looking great, and interesting to see it evolving, was a good idea to post this. Looks like a ton of work in that tree...and I get the feeling those zombie hands are gonna work out just fine

Well, aside from maybe listing the tomb as that of a dead celebrity you like, you could always go with a pun (Dr. Acula, Frank N. Stein, etc.) or maybe just a humorous phrase. I remember one I came up with when I was working on a zombie story that you could go ahead and use is "Life sucks and then you die... after that it doesn't get much better". Though you'd probably only have room for the "life sucks then you die" part.

What pencils do you use? Your lines have such a nice texture^^

uh, for this Im using staedtler 2h lead and a lead holder. I usually use something a bit softer but and thing above a 2h can get a little smeary. The red undersketching isnt actually there, I just photoshoped it in to show progression.

I only trace the most necessary lines...That's why my prelim sketch looks totally different from the final result^^
You could do a few tutorials, I am sure many people would like that

Well, I can only speak for my self, but I would love to see
how you progress from preliminary sketch, to detailled sketch, to linerat etc.
And as I said a few weeks ago, your coloring style is cool too
But I would start with a lineart tutorial
(Showing how you arrange the head, the body parts etc.)
