                                     Lost Chapter 2.8:  Safe for Now?

‘Meta Knight arrives in time to stop Lockdown and founds out it was Dark Mind who hired him to kidnap Sharpy. Meta Knight almost becomes a Dark Warrior again, but is saved from that and from killing Lockdown thanks to Platinum Knight, then Dark Mind tries to take the whole family, but Sailor Dee stops him, and Meta Knight and Platinum Knight destroy the mirror but now the cavern is collapsing. Can they get out in time and is this the last they seen of Dark Mind?’

“RUN FASTER!” They all were running the fastest that either one of them as ever ran before. Sonj looked back to see the tunnel collapsing right behind them. He kept thinking in his mind,
“Don’t trip! Don’t Trip! Don’t trip!” They soon saw the exist and used the last of their energy to make it out of the cave just as it collapsed behind them.
The dust settled and everyone looked around to see that everyone made it out in time.

“That was close,” said Blade as he and the others got up. Sword walked over to Platinum Knight.

“I believe he belongs to you,” he said as he hand Sharpy to his mother. Platinum quickly hugged Sharpy against her and Sharpy was happy to be with his mom again. Meta Knight walked over to his family to make sure they were okay.

“Glad that’s over,” said Bako.

“Same here,” replied Sonj. Platinum Knight looked over to Sailor Dee who was standing a few feet away from.

“Thank you saving us Sailor Dee,” she said. Sailor Dee blushed and was rubbing the back of his head.

“It was nothing really,” he said.

“No it was, it was very brave of you to do that for us,” said Meta Knight.

“I think you have what it takes to be part of my crew,” said Short-Knives. Sailor Dee looked at her with great surprise on his face.

“You, you want me to be part your crew?” asked Sailor Dee.

“Of course, I see what you can do when needed and I can use that. What do you say?” she said. Sailor Dee thought for a moment. He really didn’t have anywhere else to go so.

“Yes.”

“Welcome to my crew,” she said as she patted Sailor Dee on the back. Platinum Knight smiled. She knew Short-Knives will look after him. She looked back down at her baby and hugged him. She was so happy to have him back safe and sound. Once they got back on the ship she knew she was going to have to take care of him, he seemed pretty hungry and can tell by the smell that his diaper needed to be changed, but something was bothering her.
She remembered seeing Lockdown back in the cavern, but she didn’t see him run out, though she bet that Lockdown used that teleportation device on his suit. And there was Dark Mind to think about.

“Something tells me that we haven’t seen the last of them.”

Not too far away from Whispy Woods, Lockdown appeared on a hillside. He was weak from his fight with Meta Knight, but sometime in the future he’ll be back and this time he’ll finish them off.

“Next time Platinum I will defeat you and your family will join you.” With that Lockdown disappeared from sight.

Somewhere in a dark realm, Dark Mind was still trapped and without the child he needed, but now he had something even better. In his hand he held single piece of glass, but it was what was on the glass that was valuable to him. On the glass was a bit of blood, but this blood was Meta Knight’s and Dark Mind could feel the dark energy from the blood, for when the glass cut him, he was becoming a Dark Warrior at the time.

“I may not have your son Meta Knight, but I have your blood and that’s all I need.”
