yeah I did realise that you were referring to the comment,just wondering why you said that. I mean obviously I think its definiteve for me, there still isnt anything that I would really change about this image, but thats my personal taste and maybe yours is different

I dont use a SLR or anything... aat present Im using a borrowed Rocoh R8 which I dont know how to use properly
My own cameras broken at present its a Praktka Slimpix 5250

yeah you just need an overcast day, a tripod, a polariser, and an understanding of composition.

you dont need PS to get a shot like this. I could have shot this as a jpeg then no editing would have been necessary. Thanks very much

How do u get the effect with the running water

I am unsure what effect you are talking about, if its the blurring of the water then its a long shutter speed, if its the colour and clarity of the water, its the use of a polarising filter and ideal lighting conditions.

Incredible shot. How heavy of a neutral filter do you shoot with if you don't mind me asking?

This is around a 1 second exposure at iso 100 and f11, I used a polariser which has a neutral density effect of roughly 2 stops, the day was also overcast and the overhead canopy cut out more light.
