Nah just kidding, fair comment. You know how I like these images and the rocks were a perfect opportunity for it. PS the processing is quite simple on this one. Just an edge mask for the rocks surrounding the sun, nowhere else

The left side of this shot is fantastic, the right side doesn't add so much, but compositionally it all holds together really well, and it's a great scene

Lovely shot and composition. I really like the pattern of the sun's flare too.
I'd be interested to know more about your technique for reducing lens flare if you don't mind. The different shots for the flare you mention, were they included in the panorama stitching or only blended in photoshop afterwards? Roughly how much of a change in direction was there between the flare images?

Your probably best off exporing this yourself through experimentation. The panorama maker I use, PTGui allows you to export the blended panorama with the layers that created it all correctly positioned so that you can paint in (ont he layer mask) the bits you want to show The overlaps on the frames use to make this are about 50% by moving the sun from the left side to the right side of the image the flare m,oved sufficiently that the process worked.
