Description
This is a commission for He wanted me to draw Samus Aran from Metroid sitting at her cockpit while drinking one of the X-Parasites. Also, I'm currently working on his second commission that also features another drawing of Samus, but its currently in the inking stage.

I thought Samus had enough whit using her fusion suit to collect the X parasites that gives her health not whiteout her fusion suit and if she eats it when she will probably be very sick

Well I would say that the X parasites are worse when metroids and I don't think Samus would eat the X parasites I think she would use her fusion suit and when the X parasites would give her health

Well, she did receive the Metroid Vaccine that instantly killed the X inside of her central nervous system. I'm sure she'd be fine.

Yeah, she was lucky at the time, but the Metroid Vaccine is still in her body, lasting the entirety of Fusion.
Since her powersuit is biologically linked to her body, she still should be able to absorb the X without phasing her powersuit on.

Of course but if she's gonna absorb those X parasites when she needs the fusion suit is made to absorb the X parasites but the power suit only absorb healths and upgrades and much more but if she uses the power suit and absorbs the X parasite on her power suit when the X parasites are gonna make another SA-X

True, the if the X came in contact with the pre Fusion powersuit, Samus would just become SA-X.
The Samus in this comm is supposed to be her post Metroid Fusion.
The Fusion Suit was created as a result of the powersuit coming in contact with the Metroid Vaccine; her Fusion Suit is essentially a modified powersuit.

Well don't forget that the fusion suit is meant to absorb the X parasites but it's basically a power suit but just that she doesn't have her abilities so she needs to get them back in order to use them again but if the X parasites gets contract whit her power suit when the X parasites will make another SA-X

Upon her initial infection, the X had already imbedded itself underneath her suit and inside of her central nervous system.
After receiving the Metroid Vaccine, more than just her suit changed.
Since the X were killed from inside of her body's central nervous system by the Metroid Vaccine, Samus had to have develop an internal immunity to the X as well.
And with her Power Suit being biologically linked to her body, it's only natural for the Metroid Vaccine to alter it as well. The Power Suit became the Fusion Suit in appearance because Samus herself had been changed internally.

Well I can't really say that her suit changed its still power suit but just in another version called fusion suit so that it can absorb the X parasites but remember Samus didn't know about the X parasites she wasn't aware of the X parasites until she found out that the X parasites were making clones of her called SA-X

Yep, that's all true. But the idea I had for Samus in this picture was that Metroid Fusion had already taken place. This picture is just supposed to be Samus relaxing in her ship.
How she obtained an X-Parasite could be anyone's guess lol.
She could've somehow extracted the X DNA from her own DNA and had them cloned or something.
Or there could've been an X hidden on her Gunship after Fusion.
Or the Dachoras and Etecoons could've been secretly infected when they boarded her Gunship in Fusion.
Or she could've stumbled across a chunk of the destroyed SR388 and found some X on it.

Maybe she kept one after she left but the X parasites are pretty dangerous but Samus was only lucky that she got that metroid vaccine if it wasn't for the metroid vaccine when she would be dead

Yep, she was extremely lucky she got the vaccine in time. Luck is normally on her side whenever she's in a bad spot lol
And yeah; maybe she could've somehow kept one after she left, for "research purposes" or something. Or her computer, Adam, secretly obtained one somehow and she found out.

Well I played metroid fusion but I never really understood the story until I read about it but now I know everything about it and I heard if you use the GBA emulator on of you can use a cheat so that you can use the power suit but it's basically SA-X so it's not worth it but I think if Samus needs to take down the X parasites again when maybe she can use the power suit to absorb them as health as well

Well I mean we do have metroid other M but I found it so confusing story like I did think that maybe metroid other m is after metroid fusion or before like the nightmare boss from metroid fusion but we don't really know but I think the power suit that just maybe that it can absorb the X parasites but I don't think it's capable of that cuz the power suit can't really handle the X parasites besides in the first cutscene of metroid fusion you can see the power suit is not capable of the X parasites the power suit went nuts and made Samus crash in the asteroids
