Description Had to sell my horse a couple of weeks ago as I won't be able to afford him when I move out to uni this sept. I've had him for four years, so obviously it wasn't a particularly happy time, but it was to a good home.

Anyway as a consolation gift to myself I bought something I always wanted, a DSLR! yaay! The cheapest one I could afford, but never the less a giant leap up from the cheap happy snaps camera I was using before.

Don't worry I wont flood you with mediocre photography, but I thought I'd share this one with you. This is Kharn. I know he looks mildly friesian-esk, but don't flatter him - he's just a fat cob. C:

Also now I've finished my foundation diploma and am free for the summer I am on the doing-all-my-commissions boat and rowing god-damn hard!! D:<

sonys are very good cameras. so you will get your moneys worth of great pictures. plus, it's all about how you use it, not so much about the equipment. sorry you had to sell your horse but congrats on getting a good camera.

Aw, man I know how hard that is... I had to sell my horse before uni too. I had my horse for 7 years, and I'm going through major horse-withdrawl right now. I recommend joining your university's equestrian club if they have one. I tried to do that, but alas my school is an hour bus ride from main campus, where all the meetings happen

Beautiful pic tho!

I should probably clarify, this isn't my old horse (my guy is far more refined ) Its not really practical for me to visit him as hes literally hours away, but one day I think I will C:
