omg the positioning in this picture is amazing

when looking through the mirror, the viewer's vision is skewed by the flowers/branches/decorations and it becomes a more complex setting. additionally, you're able to connect eyes with the model, which gives a feeling that the viewer is supposed to be connecting with the model and her surroundings. The mirror image is a very complex image that forces the viewer to decipher and generate thoughts and feelings.

but the mirror image is completely contrast with how simple the model is before looking through the mirror. my thoughts are immensly relaxed when paying attention to just the original image. It's calm bc she's not making eye contact (unlike the mirror image) and there isnt an excess of foilage forcing me to decide what i'm "supposed" to be feeling. The excess negative space is well needed to allow the viewer to relax and not have to focus on anything going on.

I really enjoy how intricate the picture becomes through the mirror and how serene the other side is.
