Mowgli absentmindedly stared at his mother Luri sleep he couldn´t sleep he was so worried, he was going to leave the jungle for good. But he every time he stared at her, he remembered all the good moments they had together all that she had done for him .So that was another reason for leaving, his two brothers almost died defending him he never wanted such thing to happen to anyone and it was all his fault he was only hurting those around him, he didn´t want that for her just the thought of her in pain on any way was more than enough to make his heart torn apart.

He get up and walk outside it was still dark little after midnight he went to the pond nearby his home cave and stared at the reflection of the moon like in a mirror. The fireflies danced above blinking and floating like a dance. He stared at them and stared at his reflection. Why he thought he was Alexander the hero son? It was laughable that he at some point thought he was an actual wolf his brothers were the wolves the ones meant to big things for the pack, he was the unwanted child taken by charity and will of good heart. A burden to everyone his mom who fed him when he couldn´t catch his prey, to Baloo for wasting his time by making him teach the laws of the jungle to him , to Bagheera for always protecting him, and to his brothers for always stand by his side they probably went through a lot of trouble before just for his sake, and the worst of all his father Alexander the one who gave his life away for him, the perfect waste, the useless child, the one that butted in, his way in to this big happy family and tore it apart. He almost cried at that thought they were all right he didn´t belong he never did. He was just the reason why they lost their alpha why Shere Khan was more against them he always felt he belonged here he never knew anything else and yet it was all a lie he told himself ,a curse that was what he was, a bad luck omen.

He was so engrossed in those thoughts he didn´t heard the rustling behind him a familiar face came in her beige fur, her brown ears and nose. Luri got in close to him and saw him staring at the reflection in the water. She noticed something was wrong and sat next to him, he never noticed her till he felt her head on his shoulder. His first reaction was flinching away from her shocked face.

-Mowgli what’s wrong?

-Nothing everything´s okay he said never looking at her

She got in clos e to him and give him a bite on his forearm not strong to draw blood but enough to make him squirm in pain.

-Ow

-You know I hate lies! -She said in a maternal stern tone

-But!

-No buts young mister! Now tell me what´s wrong

He bit his lip and was about to evade the question but he knew that his mother deserved the truth he just knew he owe her at least that much.

-Did you ever regret to adopted me? He said with a lot of sadness

She stared at him stunned by the question but she just shook her head and said

-Mowgli what are you talking about? You´re family and I….

-Why!? He yelled startling her- I only cause troubles to you, your children, your friends, I only make cause you pain and I just don´t worth it he said nearly breaking down – Without me, dad would still be around you wouldn´t had to go through this, everyone would be happier, and The he was pounced by a now enraged she wolf that pinned him against the ground with a snarl showing her razor point teeth. He was now paralyzed he never saw his mother angry so enraged.

-Never dare to say those word in front of me ever again! Yes , somethings may have been in a bad direction right now but- she said getting off him and breathing deeply making him look at the side with guilt- That’s why we must fight you are really important to me and the days I shared with you, Akru, Sura and Alexander I´ll remember them till my last breath. Those days with all of us together were the best days I´ve had, our family was complete and I was so happy. The five of us altogether when our family was complete so things are hard now but you brought us so much happiness. Mowgli opens his eyes widely at that revelation -So when things got hard I remember those days because they´re worth it. Me my mate alexander and my three wonderful cubs. You want to know why? Because I love you. That’s why -she said with a smile

He screamed and lunged at her holding her tightly crying repeatedly I´m sorry muffled by her fur she just put her nose against his neck and licked clean his tears. She move him and went back to the cave he held her neck never wanting to let go as they fell asleep. The morning was beginning but in a cave two wolves weren´t willing to wake up yet they just snoozed enjoying each other company.
