Description
Sort of a speedpaint exercise. Instead of obsessing over structural flaws, I decided to halt work at the 2 hour mark.If Dark Phoenix was heroin to Jean Grey, then I like to think of the Black Queen as the gateway drug.

Selene will always be my favorite black queen. I thought it was actually Madelyn Prior who was the Black Queen and subsequent dark phoenix. This is a beautiful piece, I love the style.

yeah on second looksies this is your best work i think the roughness allows you to really just focus on the feeling of the painting rather than get stuck on the as you say structural flaws i might try this with my own work thanks
