Everyone else was doing this meme so I thought I would join in the fun!
This was a fun meme, I suggest you all try it out! These are the various shows/games/movies/series/companies/people/whatever that have influenced me or inspired me with art or my personal work.
1. Probably the biggest influence, TRANSFORMERS!!! Now I show a pic of TF Animated cuz it's influenced me the most, but all the continuities are good for me.....cept Kiss Players! TFA has influenced me the most, especially with almost 90% of my artwork on this site! I look forward to TF Prime as well and am so excited for TF3!
2. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! May not have influenced my art per se, but he's influenced me with how to live a proper life! He can do the same for all of you too!
3. Bionicle was one of my biggest fandoms during most of, if not ALL of my teenage life. I have been a fan ever since it started, but later on Bionicle kinda got overrated and boring and too confusing to follow along with. I stopped bothering to collect halfway the Kinu Nui saga or whatever and didn't even get into the Glatorian one, that's just not Bionicle to me. But it is good to look back and see how awesome it was and I do still have a great amount of the figures and sets!
4. One of my earliest childhood influences! Who doesn't like Star Wars?!? I first watched Return of the Jedi when I was like 6 and loved it as a kid! Unfortunately I'm not a hardcore fan nowadays, it's kinda hard to get into with the series ended and now we just have the Clone Wars series which doesn't really catch my interest too much. But these movies remind me so much of my childhood and I love reminiscing about it when watching them!
5. Now this applies to all the animated Disney movies that I have seen in my childhood. I loved them and they remind me so much of my childhood! It's fun to watch a good Disney movie now and then and the stories and themes have inspired me with some of my works before!
6. Not a huge influence, but the Lord of the Rings was one of my favorite movies! Very epic story, it's just too bad I haven't read all the books. The Hobbit is also really good, now if only Peter Jackson could make a freaking movie of it!

8. What can I say?!? I've had tons of Lego toys and they rock! One of the best toys ever made, I really should just get them out someday and make something wicked awesome!
9. Now I am kinda new to the Gundam fandom, in fact I wouldn't call myself a real Gundam fan just yet cuz I've only watched SD Gundam Force. I may or may not watch the other series someday, but I do like the figures and model kits!

11. Haven't been a fan very long but it's a very big influence on me! I LOVE THIS ANIME!!! Seriously, it's the most epic anime show ever! Plus it's got Yoko in it, hottest anime chick ever!
12. Not just Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but all the video games I've ever played and enjoyed! I think the video games I've played has had the biggest influence on me ever! I want to actually make my own video game someday! My favorites include Super Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Sonic, Kirby, Megaman, Pokemon, Starfox, Kid Icarus, and many more!
13. One of my favorite childhood series! I loved that movie(s) when I was a kid! I grew out of it after the 10th one but I still like looking back at my childhood every now and then! :3

Cuz you said Bionicle was overrated, which means that in some meaning, it must be good and mainstream popular (otherwise, doesn't necessarily need so much hype) as MLP on its time . Also, a lot of people at my high school knows about it.
So if you said that it was overrated, then that must mean it was very popular. Which I would be pretty happy about.

I was trying to say that maybe not overrated, but probably it's because like you said, Bionicle is changing the theme or direction on the story and that it's becoming too confusing to understand where the story goes.
The reason why I brought up South Park is because in the previous seasons, it was focused on being offensive by making parodies of certain celebrities or groups but now it's shifting its direction to the focus of the social media that people questions about such as Paris Hilton being a bad influence and the Penn State jokes being overused. Maybe people missed the old theme of South Park on which it was supposed to be offensive.
I thought that when you said it was overrated, it's too popular for you, but I didn't know that the story is becoming confusing for you. So maybe you shouldn't say that it is overrated, but confusing instead. I thought for a moment that it was a hypocrisy there (yet again, that map was made before you were a brony), but it wasn't, so my bad.

I just don't see how The Lord of the Rings can't be a big influence. but on the other hand, I like Star wars - episodes I - VI, I like Lego, I'm a big Disney movie watcher, I simply adore The Lord of the Rings, and I'm a HUGE fan of The Legend of Zelda

Oh it's easy as can be! Just open up the meme in Gimp or any program that has layers, and then make all the other layers be the blocks of the things you like and paste them on and you can move them around and resize them to your liking!
