Description
A portal that breaks the walls of reality, opening up into a different world.----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Painting project piece (# 2): installation and traditional painting.
Size: central canvas around 5x9 feet
Sides (sketched directly on the wall): around 9x20 feet
Medium: acrylic paint, charcoal, marker, and chalk.
The "lit-up window" effect is achieved with a projector with an overlay of grass and leaves on the sides.
The bottom: a "constructed" log littered with grass and plants, surrounded by a thick layer of autumn leaves on the floor.
This piece was completed in 2 months with the help of my apprentice Milena C.

This is easily one of the most stunning images I have ever seen, the forest ties in perfectly with the wall and your apprentice, they blend perfectly with just the right amount of contrast.
So now that we have seen her a link to some of her work would be nice as to encourage her and see how much of you has transferred over.
Also an image of just the canvas and wall would be nice, as well as a solo image of the piece with her.

Looks very much like a photo-manipulation. As always, I know it's not, but to the wandering person it certainly could give that impression. I say that because the style shifts quite a lot between the background and her, but even between her body and face (body looking far more realistic..). Although I'm sure this is probably just a part of your natural evolution as an artist, so I'm curious to see where this 'style' takes you
