This makes so much more sense, given what I know now of Snippy and 117. I applaud you and your masterful handling of plot and how you are able to weave details about from front to back and back to front, like the conversation between Captain and the skeleton, and Echo's later conversation where we hear the other side of the discussion. And--well--everything, really. I am looking forward to discovering what, exactly, the Captain is, if we ever do.

This is the best example of macabre humor from you I've seen so far.
Pitty it is generally frowned upon to combine violence, death and gore with humor... I guess the good old splatter days are allmost over in the realm of movies.

I don't like the fact that now the whole zee Captain and Mr. Snippy and the Pilot thing is just a dream now; kinda takes away from it, I think. But on the whole I absolutely love this comic!

In the second panel it looks like the Captain is throwing flying, hard and diabolical pieces of cake at the scientists. Also one of them appears to be dead.

This is reminds me of a Japanese movie I saw on Adult Swim once. It was so freaky. Kids go into a demon infested city where every demon is some mechanical/biological monster. They had names like Fox Demon, Blood Drinker, Child Eater, etc. They go there in order to play a demented game of tag and it turns out the winner gets possessed by the Fox Demon, which, along with the other Demons, try to catch the children. Since the children have to wear fox masks to play and even find the place, it gets makes it weirder. The children who lose end up connected to this huge energy system which puts them in a comatose state and the city is powered by the energy taken from their bodies. The movie ended with the new winner counting down the next game with a bunch of children who also wore fox masks, but it was a lot lighter and there were no demons. However, after the countdown he says, "Ready or not here I come!" or something along those lines, but his voice turns into a demonic tone. The screen then raises to show a small tower he was leaning against. The tower is covered in wires and at the top is an identical little boy connected to the tower. It was... disturbing to say the least.
