Happy Mother's Day, from Aloria!This colour sketch shows a sweet little Arian having a moment with her mother, the Empress, before she heads off to deal with her sovereign duties. Last year I posted an image of this royal mother and daughter in their great throne room (that image is posted below). This year I wanted to show a cute, post-card like scene of the most powerful woman in the Alorian empire with her youngest (and favourite) daughter. I have done one image of her older sister Narcia as well, but I have yet to show the eldest sister in a picture. Also hidden in this scene is Arian's first cat, rascally Pete.
I hope everyone out there spend some time with their mom's if they are able to. Check my gallery for a second mother's day image to be posted soon!

You can see where Arian gets her beauty! I'm still guessing that future Alorian historians will add the "The Fair" to the Empress's name. Do you have a name for Her Imperial Highness yet?
And Arian as a sweet little girl? Well, Dracula's daughter and Harley Quinn were sweet little girls once, too.

Arian has always been a spoiled and temperamental princess, but she will always have a soft spot for her mom!

It appears that she either has multiple crowns OR it evolves as the reign of the Empress lengths.

She has many crowns for many occasions! Each is more ornate and valuable then the last!
I do like the idea of it growing as an empress achieves glory and honour during her reign!

It is an interesting notion. The more you accomplish and or grow within and without in the empire the more elaborate the crown becomes. Kind of like a visual representation of the rule.
