“I have never done this before,” the man said, his Russian accent thick under his excited, anxious voice.

The dark-skinned naga could not help but grin a little devilishly. “I would hope not. Then I’d be less special, not being the first.”

“What is going to be like? Will it hurt?”

“Huh? No.”

“Will be scary?”

“It shouldn’t be.”

“Will make feel sick?”

The naga rolled his slit green eyes. “Ugh, Audrey, stop asking so many dumb questions. You’re going to ruin the fun of it.”

The two men rested quietly in the dark, warm cabin the naga called his home. The only light emitting from the cozy little room was a handful of electric lanterns flickering in the corners, casting a faint orange glow around them in the snake-man’s circular bed.

The blonde-headed Audrey laid cuddled up within the mass of green and white-striped coils of the naga’s long, muscular snake body. The human would have appeared so small and inferior to the creature had the remaining portion of his partner not been so frail in comparison. His slender form was almost pathetically petite as he lay against the strong arms and broad shoulders of his human lover. The naga slithered closer to him and put a clawed hand against his chest.

“So, you’re sure you wanna do this, right?” he asked, only a hint of concern in the depths of his hissing tone.

“Yes, o-course, Pee-card!” Audrey replied enthusiastically.

The naga smirked. “Alright. Hypnosis ideally shouldn’t make you freak the heck out. It’s never done it to any of the animals I’ve done it to before. And you humans are practically animals, right? If I think you’re gonna do something weird, I’ll pull you out of it, though. Okay?”

“Okay. I trust you, Pee-card!”

“I’d be insulted, otherwise.”

The two creatures leaned in closely to one another and shared a quick but tender kiss. Their eyes became locked as they parted ways, yet they remained as close as before. So close the gentle flicking of Picard’s tongue tickled the other’s pale skin. Nothing occurred at first. The human male did not feel any different and nothing about the world around him had altered in any way. However, the deeper his gaze fell into the naga’s, the more relaxed his body became. After a time, the world around him began to slip away in a comforting fog.

Neither man truly knew how long they had been resting there before the entirety of the human’s body melted in a calming heap into the other’s coils. When Picard finally realized it, he could not help but grin. I got you now. I can do whatever I want.

Thoughts did occur, of course. How could they not? The naga had hypnotized an endless many number of prey animals before, either for hunting, practice, or just to cure some afternoon boredom. Sometimes he had done it with predators just for a challenge. A sapient creature, though? He never would have dared. To think of the things he could do with such a willing victim… it was almost insatiable.

He had known of ancient nagas, in the depths of the forests far away, enslaving sentience beings with their powers. He supposed others like himself could still be practicing just the same, but he never met any others to question it. It was a powerful ability, and something he both feared and adored.

I could do. Anything.

He licked his lips hungrily, his split tongue slipping across his sharp fangs. He ran a hand delicately across the human’s soft skin. His scales pressed against his mate’s form, muscles against muscle. He supposed he could do whatever he wanted, couldn’t he? Audrey probably would not have minded.

Picard nestled his brown face into his partner’s blonde locks and pulled in his scent, all the while keeping at least a single eye onto his gaze. Audrey remained calm and still, a kind smile on his lips. He was completely out of it, his eyes glazed over as his mind hibernated in a world unto itself. Peaceful.

The naga bit tentatively at his lip.

He simply couldn’t do it. Not this time. Not until he knew for certain he would not hurt him.

“Why must you be so damn cute?” he asked aloud.

The only thing he could push himself to do was go in for one additional kiss. He shut his eyes, allowing the trace between the two to slowly fade. As Audrey began to reawaken from his temporary slumber, he pulled his arms out from beneath the naga’s heavy body and wrapped them around the skinny human-like frame. They embraced, and their kiss grew much more passionate than before. The heat of their bodies escaped into the emptiness of the room.

As the remnants of the human’s hypnotic bliss faded, he opened his eyes and admired his partner with a now-wakeful gaze. “You okay, Pee-card?”

“What? Yeah, duh,” he said with amusement. “How about you? Did you like it?”

“Was very nice, yes! Felt so short, though.”

Picard laughed nervously. “Well, I didn’t wanna expose you to it for too long. Might rot your brain, you know? We gotta take it easy.”

Audrey laughed and snuggled against the snake-man’s dark skin. Picard grunted and writhed in his grasp for a moment before settling, his face growing flustered. The human replied. “Okay, Pee-card. We can do again soon, yes?”

“Sure, whatever,” he chuffed, looking away from him. Even so, he could not resist allowing his own body to relax in his arms.

“You so sweet,” Audrey said, his voice muffled in the other’s black hair.

“Yeah,” he grinned sheepishly, his white fangs glinting in the warm light, “tell me something I don’t know.”
