Oh my god...I haven't been on here in forever, but I think this is my one favorite things that you have done. Ever. I can feel such torment and pain in this piece - from the proud yet broken body language to the tense muscles, holding the completely slack body, not even comprehending what has happened. And the cross-hatch adds such an interesting shading and texture to the piece.
I am glad you are having a wonderful time at school - it shows.
