Robots are awesome! XDcreated in Maya 2008
post touch ups done in PS7
This one is fairly simple, I made it over this last weekend in my free time, but because of all the lights and fog the actual time it took for my computer to render the image was 4hr 37min 48sec

jeez, this is awesome! the lighting does give it kinda an action movie scene event taken place. very dynamic and the lighting just gives it more of that suspense type of look. great job!

Ha Ha.. If you saw what it looked like without all the rendering effects you'd think it was simple too (Its actually just a bunch of smoothed out boxes lol)

I really like the lighting in this piece and the model in general is cool too. Though the glow at the..uh. "neck area" is a little distracting. My eyes are drawn to that area first, which makes it kind of confusing when looking at the head...I kind of have to force my eyes to make out the shape of the robot's head. Other than that though, it's a nice render with a pretty cool atmosphere. I like that glowing..spine?

The texturing and lighting on this is very well done, and dramatic too. The overall modelling gives this robot a good design as well
