Could I draw this image? It would be credited towards you and link to this image in the description, just like this image I have done before, but I ask beforehand... I think it would be something very interesting to work with.Β cookierawr.deviantart.com/art/…

Awesome. I don't know how quickly I will have it done, lots of stuff going on IRL, but I will surely let you know when I am finished.

is the background effect a natural part of the lens focusing on such a small subject? Β It looks so gauzy and dreamy. Β It's like a romantic portrait. Β I love it, and constantly impressed by macro photography like your work!

i don't understand something,
the blur on around the spider- is that an edit or the photograph?
especially on the top, it looks too blurry.

LOL! I'm trying to figure out your lighting set up from the reflections...
It looks like there's possibly an unfired flash with a diffuser (?) showing in the bottom half of it's eyes

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlHabshi In reply to The-Dude-L-Bug [2012-06-02 20:55:34 +0000 UTC]

I liked how you analyzed the lighting in this picture.. anyway let me help you here
I used MT24ex twin flash with this work.. both fired but at different power. As for the bottom half it's just a piece of paper to reflect the light & to fill the dark areas
