FlexibleGrowing up in the circus, Lydia is very flexible for her age. This helps her do breath-performances in front of crowds to earn a little extra silver.
Artistic Lydia is in love with the performing arts and is always thinking of better, new ways to entertain the crowd. Not only do her performances take the breath away from the audience, she often incorporates members, mainly small children, to partake in them.
AgileDue to growing up in the circus, Lydia is light on her feet and fast. She stuns the audience with quick graceful movements, such as twist, jumps and flips.
Personality
Lydia is energetic, excitable, fun-loving and friendly. She travels from town to town performing to support herself and her younger sister. Along the way she meets new people and makes friends. She is always eager to talk to someone new and often becomes friends with the children that watch her perform. Despite her past Lydia remains happy overall. But the scars from the past often cause her to doubt the trust of others and has a hard time talking to anyone about her feelings. Lydia feels it is her responsibility to take care of her younger sister. To do this she buries most negative emotions and worries as to not trouble or worry her younger sister. Because she doesn't let issues like money bother her, she often comes across as care-free to most people who meet her.

Lydia's parents owned a traveling circus troop. Her father, Allen, was the Leader and her mother, Karin, was a daring trapeze artist known throughout most of the country. When Lydia was old enough she started performing in the circus with her mother. The troop did extremely well regrading money and fame. Every show was sold out in a matter of a few hours. After the birth of her younger sister, Kaya, Karin retired from the stage to raise her two children and Lydia was the star trapeze artist at the young age of 11. She was extremely thrilled with the new role and publicity, filling her with a feeling of bliss.
Lydia took Kaya out for icecream to celebrate Kaya's first performance. Their parents remained behind to sort out a issue with one of their members, Garret. Lydia was thrilled because her mother was considering coming back to the stage now that Kaya was old enough to perform. Kaya was also excited because her first performance had went so well. The two got icecream at a local shop and then went down to the beach to walk among the waves.
When they returned they were greeted by the smoldering remains of the circus tent, and death of the entire troop, including their parents.
Lydia later learned that the meeting her parents had with Garret, was to address the fact that Garret had been smuggling gold from the troop. When Garret had discovered he had been found out,he panicked and shot Allen. Karin, desperate and shocked, faced Garret and attempted to stop him and avenge her husband. Garret in a mad panic shot her as well. The troop, which was small and came running to the sound of gunfire to find Garret with a gun and the dead Greenfelts. Realizing what he had done Garret killed the rest of the troop, set the tent ablaze to destroy the evidence, and took off with the rest of the gold covering his tracks completely.
Devastated and with no where to go, Lydia took Kaya back to the beach. Using what little silver she had left from buying icecream and purchased a set of rings. Using the rings Lydia and Kaya performed on the beach for tips until they earned enough to buy supplies and leave.
Now the two travel from town to town performing for tips, making new friends along the way.
Accessories
DaggerThe dagger Lydia carries around is a memento of her father and her troop. Her father often used the dagger in mind blowing tricks during a show. It was also one of the few things that survived the fire.
NecklaceLydia's mother gave her a lucky charm when Lydia first started performing. She wears this necklace every time she performs and often thinks of her mother when she wears it.
Sketchbook and PencilsLydia loves to draw. It is also a hobby of hers to draw on the side as she travels. She always draws pictures of the places and the people she meets to ensure that she never forgets all the fun times she has shared with her friends.
BatonThe baton is one of the few props Lydia uses her in street performances. She can attach ribbons on the ends for an added effect when performing.
Juggling BallsLydia can juggle but she is not very good at it. The balls are more often used by her younger sister, Kaya, during their performances.
RingsThe set of three rings was the first prop Lydia ever purchased. They are also her favorite. She tosses them high in the air and then catches them while doing a handstand with her tail or legs. This stunt is one of her favorites and always a favorite of the crowd!
Additional Info:
Due to their lack of funds, Lydia and Kaya almost never rent a room in an inn or hotel. They sleep in the trees by a lake or river, enjoying the clear sky and stars.
Lydia often comes to the ocean when she needs to think or be alone. Kaya always knows where to find her but lets her have her privacy when needed.
