Hello you random one, who are reading this~
This is the 7th picture of my 'Photo of the Day' thingy. These photos are from my trip to (Finnish) Lapland
& northen Norway 2014. I took photos every day, and decided to make myself go throught them and
chose my favorite one for each day to show~! This one is the final photo btw

It was so annoying to try to take photos of that lovely little waterfall while mosquitoes were trying to eat me alive : D

Place: Pallas-Yllästunturi's national park, Finland

Indeed they do, your blood that is. (I couldn't resist xD. Btw, these kind of jokes are called puujalkavitsit (wooden leg jokes)(no idea where the name comes from) in Finnish, do you have some kind of a name for them? (other example could be like: if your name is Manu, you have to do everything Manually))
Also, what is a swap for you? For me it's something like this www.google.fi/search?q=swamp&s… but I've heard that Finnish swaps differ from those elsewhere
Thanks!

We just call them puns XD

Your swamps just sort of look like a wet field/moor XD

We have your stereotypical swamp generally seen in movies about ghosts and murderers disposing bodies. They are also the usual home of snakes, alligators, snapping turtles, possums, etc... They are like scattered bodies of water in the woods that are generally connected to a river. They look like this:
www.learnnc.org/lp/media/uploa…
www.google.com/search?q=swamp+…

I live in the woods but if you walk into the woods for about a minute you'll come across a swamp (heres some pictures and a video of my dog in our swamp)

If you have a smart phone you should get an instagram, It's a lot of fun and I've been a lot more active on there than here lately.

You lazy c:

Well to me your swaps look like pods : D

Our swamps can be really useful I see. Soggy spots take
everything you offer them xD (in Finnish soggy spots
are called 'suonsilmä' which translates to 'eye of the
swamp') But our swapms definatetly don't have alligators,
turtles or opossums. Maybe a few snakes, but mostly
birds. But I don't really think that those pictures look like
Finnish swamps, the trees are waaay to large. Our swamps
usually have only some taller, thin pines plus smaller ones
that looks more alike bushes.

To me your swamp just looks alike a really wet forest ^^'
(but your dog is really cute in that pond c

I do have one, but I'm not that fond of social media.
Like I never had a facebook account, and I don't really
wanna use my real name online :I
(+ in here instagram is mostly used by hipsters u-u)

Our swamps are just wetlands for wildlife, basically. My dad said he and some friends rowed a canoe through the entire Okefenokee Swamp when he was younger and it took several days. He said it was fun but exhausting :'D
Here's some pictures! www.google.com/search?q=okefen…

I've never had a facebook either :'D I think instagram is a lot of fun because I like to take pictures. It's also an easy way to keep up with everyone I know!
Haha, pretty much everyone has an instagram here #hipster4life

Yep, totally a shallow river your swapm is to me.
That kinda trip really sounds like a fun thing to do~
tough I'd prefer hiking to canoening.

I get your point but I still feel instagram is mostly for hipsters and
girls who just want to take pictures of themselves. And I don't feel
like that I wanna be part of that. (I've tought about getting a tumbrl
tought, talking about social media) Also, this is not really a social
media site, but I use Myanimelist (in which you can list the animes
you've watched, plan to watch etc., unsuprisingly) which is really convenient.
My nick in there is Kalmatar (that's Finnish and means kinda like 'lady death'
or something, It's loosely related to Finnish national epic Kalevala)

Hiking in our swamps is pretty much impossible, but hiking is very fun! If you tried to hike in the swamp you'd most likely end up in a honey pot (like quick sand, it indicates a sink hole and you can easily get stuck and sucked under), come up on some deep water you can't cross, stumble upon a poisonous snake, or really anything. Swamps can be very dangerous here :'D It also takes several days to row the entire Okefenokee, though they do have resting where you can dock your boat and sleep for the night.

I try to keep my selfies to a minimum (...most of them are with my pets and friends though) xD I think my instagram is about 70% my dog. I really like posting his pictures and using all of the Shiba hashtags so I can meet other Shiba owners from all over the world. I don't know anyone else that owns a Shiba Inu in real life so it's really nice to interact with other owners! And surprisingly some boys post just as many pictures of themselves as the girls, haha. I like it personally, but I get that it's not for everyone :>

I think you would really like tumblr! I rather enjoy it

That sight seems pretty cool, I just might make an account!
YOU HAVE SEEN SO MANY ANIME SHOWS

Our swamps aren't ideal for hiking either, but at least they're no that bad : D
The only poisonous snake in Finland is viper, and wen don't have any other poisonuos
species either~

Nice that it has worked so well for you c:

But it's a struggle to learn how to use new websites lol : p

If you ever do note me, so I can add you as a friend c:
THAT JUST KINDA HAPPENED I've been into anime and manga
for about six years now, and I don't even know, I've just watched
shows that seemed interestin ^^'
