Description 2nd in the set of summer randomness-inspired drawings. (First being Fields of Gold) This one's not from under my bed, though. My roommate's wall, rather...

Leda and the Swan! Should make the whole swan-satyr thing make more sense.

Because I finally have a scanner, I'm a little excited to present the set of sketches: [link]

It's becoming more and more clear to me the discrepancies between my personal work and my schoolwork, yikes.

Wow! It looks a bit like a mashup of all creatures Zeus changed into to seduce women

What an interesting composition! I think that what caught my eye the most about this are the swan's branch-like protrusions from its head. I think it solidifies the relationship between the satyr and swan part of it! As well as this, I have to reiterate myself and say your skies are just amazinnnggg. It makes me want to paint nice skies--or at least attempt to!

Cool :3 You have some pretty unique stuff here ^_^ You're really skilled with digital media as well, from the clouds to the little details on the... swan xD I like how you did the reflections from the brighter clouds below on it, it really gave it a nice touch of contrast c:
My digital media... isn't very good |D I just stick with traditional mainly x3

Waah, thanks so much. And hey, traditional art is something that'll be celebrated now and forever, despite the rise of digital! There's really no replacement for the direct touch of the pencil, pen or brush. So props to you for the traditional, and being able to do it so well. I personally think it takes more guts than digital.

Any time ^_^
Thanks :3 I personally do traditional because it's more fun to me and it gives me more control over the piece since I don't have a tablet
