Description
A rather dramatic redesign of a relatively uninteresting earlier pencil drawn alien concept of mine. I’ve changed the color scheme and more significantly altered the anatomy. The apparent head is in fact a highly adapted trunk-like nasal appendage for olfactory and visual sense while the brain is located in the chest. The mouth is located on the underside and most species depend upon the foremost pair of limbs to assist in transporting food to the mouth. Hrupf are large herbivores which support their weight upon all six limbs and therefore risk starvation if the cannot locate vegetation the same height as their mouth. Though their nasal trunk has some limited dexterity and can assist in grabbing food which would otherwise be out of reach.
