Description My biodiversity sketches for my planet Pfwool have been a conscious effort to differentiate my trilateral aliens from those of other xenobiology artists but they have also made me realize that the diversity of Pfwool is beginning to extend beyond what I originally envisioned for the biological "themes" I wanted to explore. I began noticing traits that seemed better suited for another planet's xenobiology and therefore I'll be creating additional planets as necessary to exolore these additional possibilities. But I intend tor Pfwool to remain a priority project.

Enter the first such supplemental planey and its biodiversity: Bjuvhal. Bjuvhal biology is bilateral in symmetry but most organisms are also share anterior and posterior symetry to a degree. They have two mouths, on the front and rear of their bodies leading to a centralized stomach and digestive system which terminates in a cloaca in the center of their underside. Three small eyes are situated on each side of their bodies and two pairs of four nostrils are located at the base of their two feeding trunks while a single ear is located on top of each trunk. Locomotion is enabled by four centrally located limbs.

This particular organism is unique in that it has adapted so that its feeding trunks serve as muscular arms to launch itself short distsnces at smaller prey who are quickly executed by its four small but sharp-clawed legs. Pinning down its prey, it can then dine upon its kill with alternating bites from its pair of feeding trunks.

I LOVE this alien species! Its super unique & original & not humanoid at all. My biggest frustration with sci-fi aliens is that ppl always make them humanoid (I.e, two arms, two bipedal legs, two eyes, etc). I am glad you didn't do that & I look forward to more information on this amazing species.

Thanks! I should get around to doing a digital rendition of them after all this time.
