After months of work, it's finally done. I usually don't do fan art of any kind, but the Metroid game series will always have special place in my heart.I really spent a lot of time with this, especially the Metroid itself. I hope you all like it!

Wow, the coloring is very good. The dark background looks cool and makes the colors look very clear. It's great, I like that you don't see the Metroid entirely. I only think that the claws are a bit too small.

Woo! Metroid! The most unnerving part of Metroid Prime was the research lab where you'd see Metroids in their tanks, and you just knew they were gonna bust out and latch onto your head...This is a great piece

Hee, I've seen that game. Those things are creepy. I can definitely see the amount of work that's gone into this. I love the fangs and gums - the rounded feel and texture of both are great. If you were going for a "yuck" effect with the brain-like part, you certainly achieved it - nice stuff! I really like your latest work - it's incredible if it was drawn with a mouse, not to mention extremely vivid. It'd be interesting to see your take on some of the other creatures in the game - like that big fat larval thing in the first level of Metroid Prime.

This was first meant for my eyes only, but eventually it wanted to see other people.
100% mouse. I kinda feel like trying to make some other creature from Metroid Prime or Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, but I have to grow tired of this first.
I'll keep your suggestion in mind. Though, I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean the Parasite Queen? I don't recall any other "big fat larval things" from the first level.

I haven't played Metroid Prime myself; my brother owns it and I've occasionally seen him playing it. I'm not sure what the thing's name is, but I do remember that you see a dead version of it earlier in the level and then end up fighting it in a tower. Parasite queen, I imagine, is the right name for it.

You know, I've never really been into gaming, but Metroid games are just so damn good. And both Metroid Prime 1 and 2 are more like living paintings than video games... They're truly beautiful with all the insect-like creatures, high tech gadgets, temple ruins and the ever so cliche and repetive story.

Jesus christ the painting on this has improved so much. I hate to say it, but i honestly never played metroid, so i will comment on this from an unbiased view. The teeth and the flesh around them are done really well. the tine on the fangs blends smoothly, and everything around them looks like flesh an tendons. I dont really know what the part above that is, im taking it some form of Alien? But either way the effects and skill you used are really nice. Overall great piece.
