Here's a picture of a Metroid hanging out in a cavern full of Phazon and mutated Miniroids. I think this is one of my best pictures so far. I spent over a month working on this and made sure I got every detail on the Metroid the way I wanted.

Thanks! I think this is one of my best paintings. I wish I had the motivation and dedication to make something like this again. Nowadays I usually can't finish anything.

sure! i always add people to my watch that have lots of stuff i like. i cant finish anything now either. it kinda sucks, cause im always so busy but i get some of my best ideas while im in class at school, but then i get home and cant remember what i was gonna do.

Yeah, I'm keeping busy too. I usually draw a lot during lectures. Somehow it helps me to focus on what the teacher is saying. Wish I could have, like, a month free of deadlines etc. to catch up on digital painting again.

That's great, I like the background again. It's not too detailed, but you can still see what it's meant to be (those are the best background ). The Metroid is done very well. The shape is perfect and there's a lotta detail inside the membrane.

I like those 'suggestive' backgrounds (Check my last 3 submitted deviations), and the Metroid is certainly very good

Yeah, they look awesome and are more creative and inspirational since the viewer needs to stop for a moment and think about what he/she is looking at.

Thanks for the comment. I was afraid it might look like the miniroids were coming out of the Metroid's head instead of the back of the cavern.
