5 years ago, The Disasteroid was on a collision course to Earth. Vlad has finally had his limit with Jack Fenton and had their last conversation. Vlad revealed his Ghost identity to Jack, blaming him for abandoning him in the hospital for 20 years and forgotten him. As well as repeating the accident to Danny and Daniela. Jack tried to apologize for the accident, but this only angered Vlad even more, saying “You had 20 years to apologize to me, and you have the nerve to say it NOW”? Shedding one tear, he furiously launched a wave of Ecto-Energy knocking Jack into the ground. Claiming that after he left his only friend in the hospital, Jack had permanently destroyed their decades long friendship and flies to the Disasteroid, hoping that his power alone would save the Earth. Vlad used his full power, duplicating himself into an army, summoning an Ecto-Energy Hurricane at the asteroid. Vlad gave all he had to save the Earth, but it failed as the impact left a giant explosion, knocking him unconscious as he drifted away into the furthest distance of space.

One Earth one Month later, Danny Phantom saved the planet with the help of the entire Ghost Zone population. Jack hold a small memorial in Vlad’s abandoned mansion, presumed dead, Jack promises to visit every year to make up for the mistakes he made.

Meanwhile, light years away, Vlad has been wandering aimlessly through space. Visiting different worlds, inadvertently thrown into galactic prisons, surviving his journey back to Earth. He gave no effort to defend himself as he knows that his old life is over.

5 years later, Vlad wears a worn out prison uniform with remains of his old ghost uniform as his cape. Shaved his head bald and had a scar on his left eye. He can easily regenerate it, but he referred to keep it as a reminder of his past. The only thing that kept him going was his memory of Daniela, but aside from that, he’s a wandering ghost who has nothing left to lose. When finally arrive on Earth in his mansion, he nearly decided to wander through space again, until a mysterious traveler appeared offering him a second chance to have his life back.

This version of Vlad Plasmius is a tribute to Martin Mull who unfortunately passed away at age 80.
