To start off with the good, the picture is drawn very nicely, with very careful attention attended to the eyes and every little tuft of fur. however, it could be possible that a little too much attention went with the colors rather then the overall product. The painting itself looks pleasing enough, but there are some oddities. The face is very narrow in a sense, the head kind of squished from the top and the snout squished from the sides. The nose goes too far up the snout, so it gives the impression of an upturned face. The whiskers are too thick in clusters, and in general could've been thinner and more sparse. The ears are pretty far apart and giving with the off shape of the head, gives this wolf a very dog-like look if you know what I mean. The eyes are off-centered and gives the drawing a very sloppy look. Next is the paw, probably the worst out of all of them. One of the claws seems to be coming out of no where and the little toes aren't layered properly giving it the illusion of a hand. The paw itself is just very hand like and its awkward angle makes it difficult to understand what the wold is doing. If it was leaping, the paw would be bent the other way, while if it was stepping onto (stone? is that what it is?) then is would be more bent, and would require further layering in the toes. The fur on the paw also gives the impressin as if the wolf is sticking out his elbow, and the paw itself is sideways. If drawn properly the tufts would appear beneath the"arm" and wouldn't make such an awkward expression. Final verdict can be concluded as: good detail is shown but not in the anatomical sense.

This Drawing Β is on a smaller peice of paper. Β so when I scanned it . Β the paper didn't cover the entire space on the copying machine so your seeing the excess space on the scanner.Β
