This reminds me so much of the Asian brush paintings--I can so understand the light and how the techniques evolved when one sees the light in this photograph. Absolutely stunning!

First off, your ability to capture the composition of the Li River is amazing!
The suns rays also give this peice a soothing feel to the peice as well as an interesting lead to the mountain range.
Lastly, it is a very nice peace of work, but the sun gets a bit too much attention. If anything just a little switch of the Lens speed will fix that. But, its an awesome photo. Great job.

The composition is very well thought out, I like how you managed to capture the reflection yet
you still had interestng perspective of the whol are, not just the mountains.|
It looks like you took this picture close to midday, amazing as it already is, if you ever get the chance
you should consider taking pictures close to sunrise or sunset, when the colors are the most vibrant.

I have never seen this place other than on film and in photos, your depiction of it makes me more determined to see it in real life. Your photograph captivates me in all its details, from the foreground reflections of the hill tops that draw the eye into the frame through the trees to the ranges beyond. the lighting of the sky is superb and the way you have captured the sun adds so much to the shot. Truely a materful piece of work, well done indeed. Simon
