Description
Crape Myrtle is a very hardy flowering shrub that flourishes in the Southern United States. Its flowers range from white or light pink to a dark, rich magenta. I particularly love the bush because it blooms from late July until as late as November, and its popularity here makes it another lovely emblem of the South in very much the same way that Magnolia trees have become stereotypically Southern.
