This is Iio's new look, one which I am extremely proud of. I chose to omit the blue spots from her look, just because they didn't speak to me anymore. And I didn't want to make up any markings on the spot, so I chose to leave her her rust color for now. And if I think of anything good then I'll update it.

Oh, and the name of these guys was invented by the wonderful *ivoryleopard ! So yes, credit where credit is due. I love the name, it's exactly what I would have come up with it I were as clever as she XD haha Thanks Michelle!

Name is pronounced "eye-oh"
Young female, in her early twenties.

Aviantium Equinii Irii

· Nose is pink, lacking the dark pigment that covers the rest of the muzzle/mouth region. Eyes can be any color, with blue being uncommon and green being less so.

· Over the eyes ridged horns grow from an area between the eyebrows, spiraling to a point. These help shade the eyes when hunting or in flight, but do not limit visibility in any way. Traveling along the cheek bone is a ridge that is note horn but a bony projection that is covered in skin and fur.

· The whiskers are lined with specialized cells that are sensitive to subtle changes in air pressure, among other things, which aids in flight and hunting.

· Ears are rounded, and they have excellent hearing. The tip is black but on the back there is a white spot (much like a tiger).

· The neck spikes are made of horn and come from individual cuticles that line the neck on both sides of the mane. They are not attacked to the skeletal system below, but are individual plates beneath the skin. So an impact to the spikes would not necessarily cause a direct injury to the spinal cord.

· Iio’s mane is rust with a light blonde near the tips, but mane colors vary slightly from individual to individual. Some can have an auburn mane or something as dark as a warm brown. And on the other side of the spectrum, manes can be a very light strawberry blonde.

· Coat color for the Equinii Irii is a strawberry-blonde/rust color, with a golden sheen to it. This does not vary much between individuals, although some have a lighter coat and others have a darker coat.

· Tails are prehensile, and can pick up objects and hold them. It cannot quite support an adults weight, but it will aid them in daily life.

· Feet (although not very visible in this ref sheet) are like prehistoric horse feet in that they consist of several toes. Four, to be exact; two large middle ones and one smaller one on each side. But all toes end on a hoof-like end.

The name "iio" come from the Greek name "Io" which belonged to a woman who Zeus was very attracted to, so in order to protect her another god changed her into a cow, escaping his detection. Just because a lot of people were asking me.
