Description I really have to go to the airport now, but I was going to kill myself if I had to wait untill I returned to upload this.

Firstly - I was heavily inspired by *Nara87 to try and do lots of detail and scales. Every time I've tried to do something like this it's come out really bad, so I wanted to try again.

Secondly - A little about the ref sheet. I didn't write anything on it because I wanted it to look clean and pretty.
-----1. Coloration: Only her head, the tip of her tail, the top side of her wings, and the upper part of her legs are a darker brown. The rest should be the copper brown color.

-----2. The Markings:The turquoise markings are supposed to be like that green color that appears on copper when it gets old. The markings continue upwards and fade out at about a foot into her wing membrane. These dragons have the limited ability to alter their color. This is only on the skin on their torsos, to give them the ability to dull or intensify the markings. The markings can intensify to more strikingly contrasted colors, specifically for mating season and for agressive displays. This ability is slightly stronger for males.

-----3. The Wings: The wing membrane conects much further down the tail that is usual for a dragon. The underside of the wings is the pale green/turquoise color from the markings, although the brown stripes fade out not too far into the wing. But on this underside are other markings, which are shaped like eyes. They have a dark brown border and a bright nearly-white middle, which they can display to attract their own kind or to scare off larger dragons.

-----4. Size: Not incredibly large, females and males stand at an average height of 6'5" at the shoulders. There are much larger dragons and other predators in Vhaen that could easily bring one down.

-----5. The Tail: It is not completely ridgid. It has quite a bit of mobility. In fact, when no held completely out is not uncommon to see an individual holding the tail curled downwards, like a Chameleon but by far never as tightly coiled.

I think that's it. Please if you have any complaints or any issues with copyrighting then send me a note.

Oooh. Those markings are gorgeous. I've always loved teal, and it looks great with the bronze. 8O

And I ADORE your dragon anatomy. So amazing.

Thank you! I love teal and brown, itΒ΄s such a great combination.

And thanks ^^ I keep thinking her head might be a tini bit big but thatΒ΄s alright.

awesome! i love it.

also...you have a very well rounded idea of your dragon character...and it really shows in your art. i love pieces where you can explain all these tiny details about the breed. and the drawing itself...wow.

wonderful work.

Thank you! IΒ΄m glad, because I have been thinking about her for a long time, so I do feel like I finally have her almost exatly as I want her. ThereΒ΄s still one or two details about her body IΒ΄m going to keep working on, but sheΒ΄s fairly finished.

XDD No problem. You can basically invent the markings on the underside of her wings, which are like peacock "eye" spots. If IΒ΄d had more time I would have drom both sides of the wings.

Lol from the thumbnail I was a bit 'Iguanadon!' because I'm a bit -blind- today along with being dumb and very clumsy XD

But I love her, love her, love her, love her the name Noor really suits her x3 and her body is just beautiful <:3 you pull off the scaled look very well X3 can I be a nosey idiot and ask why her wing joins so far down her tail :3 I love it X3
Great job hun <:3 this was so worth waiting for X3

Haha you have blind days too? I swear, photoshop is sucking away my vision and my life.
Thanks
I made her wing connect that far down because I just did XD Look, a really ugly deformed sketch in paint to show you - [link] . I just wanted that really big wing space (conviniently gives me more play room to draw stuff on) because IΒ΄ve seen it on other dragons and I think it looks neat. Plus, since I gave her a curvey tail, I thought maybe she could curl it up and it would get wrapped in the wing (like in the ugly drawing) but I havenΒ΄t decided if it looks too weird yet XD

Ahhh thats what I had in mind X3 I know you like curly tails and when I imagined it curling I was a little 'Ooooooh!'
Lol more draggie doodle space X3 I like it very much, its certainly a new idea X3

Very pretty! I only wish it were bigger so we could see all the detail.

BUT STILL. *HUG DRAGON* I looooove the wings and how the membrane goes so far back. Talk about generating some lift and gliding ability!

I fixed that, I made it so that you don't have to download it to see the full size

Thank you! Yea, I've always loved that kind of wing, but I haven't used it till now.

This came out simply incredible. The detail, the line art, and those colors! I really love the whole idea of the copper getting older and obtaining that greenish hue, she's absolutely gorgeous. I can't stop staring at the markings, especially those on her back. She's just.. brilliant. Bravo on such a well made dragon

The ref sheet is a little small. But from what I can see, it's lovely. The detail and coloration and shading are all amazing.

I made it bigger I don't know why it makes big images smaller so you have to download them to see them full-size. But I fixed it now.

Thank you!
