The poffin eating contest! Many attended the night that Saxon and his friends got there, but some had to drop out last minute unfortunately. However, against Saxon, one rose above! And that was Marley!!

She put on a competitve smile, then chose some sour poffins, that of course she'd want to savour. However, if it meant winning, she'd eat faster than expected. "You ready?" She called Saxon's way, positioning herself to begin eating.

He smirked. "You bet! Let's GO!" he said and already he started shoving poffin after poffin into his mouth, gobbling, devouring even, he inhaled as much as he could and as fast as his paws could make him stuff it all in his face and not fall out, he swallowed some whole even if he had to, the water bottle underneath helped clear his wind pipe as he continued , all the while ears perking and tail curling from this heated competition.

Marley began to inhale the poffins like a vaccum cleaner, licking her lips after every couple poffins. It was like a dream come true, eating so many sour things like this! Sure the massive intake of such sour things wasn't too good on her tongue, but Marley didn't care. It tasted darned good!

He was on his second batch afterward, beore he had to finally stop and take it in much more slowly. He was about ready to exhale before letting out a slight belch, before he started to slow down, and plop afew lazily afte ra while, still munching. Oh all the sweets. A shiver ran down his spine. SO GOOD. SO DIVINE.

She turned to see that Saxon was on his second batch and-- oh no! She was only on her first! Marley proceeded to shove whatever she had left into her mouth, chewed a few times, and swallowed. Hahaha, who's on their first batch NOW? Nobody, that's who. She soon started on her own second batch, trying to catch up to Saxon who seemed to be going a little slower. What a fool.

He continued to eat at his own pace then, noticing Marley was continuing to inhale like holy crap. He smirked though a little. H'ed pick it up maybe... he wanted to see how she was after the second batch... which meant really after the third considering their first encounter with the random poffins.

She finished her second batch pretty quickly due to her pace, then proceeded to choke. Silly Marley! Don't you know if you eat too quickly you choke? She drank some more water (from a new bottle of course), and layed her head on the table. She was getting rather full and not sure how much longer she could go on.

He plopped the last of his second batch before being presented with his third...er.. fourth. He licked his lips before saying to Marley, "How're you hangin' over there Mar?" before he sniffed one and ate a single poffin from his third batch then, waiting for a hopefful response of defeat. His stomach though gurgled a little, protesting even himself to have another.

Upon hearing his question, her head sprung right back up, and began to stuff her face with more poffins. "Iv'm dofun jfusft fifne!" She muffled out, trying to swallow down as many poffins as she could. Her stomach couldn't hold much more, but it just had to suck it up. Literally.

Damnit, she wasn't giving in? Tchhhh. He frowned a little before he too began gobbling down his batch too like a mad man. By this time he was far beyond trying to compromise with his innards. Jelly and bread bits of the poffins were flying everywhere.

Marley stopped gobbling down her poffins for a second and just looked at Saxon, eating in such a sloppy manner. God damn! What horrible table manners. Wait wait, got sidetracked. She also began to eat in the same manner, not about to let him pass her up once more!

Saxon could feel himself start to get too full! He stuffed and stuffed before finally, he let out a roar and stood up! Was he done? No! Of course not, he couldn't allow defeat! He let out another roar before he indeed, with grace and decor, smashed his face down on the pile in front of him, nomming on anything he felt his maw obtain, licking the plate, doing all he could until he felt like he just pretty much stuffed death into his tummy, falling over afterward even!

She watched him fall over, then laughed. "I WIN!!!!" She shouted, then seeing how many plates he finished, then how many she finished. "Aw shit, wait.. fric--" Marley then fell over herself, from pure exhaustion. Silly Luxio. It's way past your bedtime.

He ended up missing about five left on his plate, and he had to wonder if Marley finished all of HER final plate. Mannnnnn.
"Hey.. HEY. ... not..yet. urpp...drawrerr..." he said rather dazily then.

Marley had passed out right then and there, and seemed to be having dreams about.. the competition? "No.." She muttered in her sleep. "I will.. beat youuuuuuuuuuuuffffrgg.." She then turned over, snoring loudly.

It seemed an Announcer after ward determined the winnings. "Hm.... IT would appear to be a draw!... Well matched! Each get a prized pumpkin medal! spoke the announcer, that announcer being none other than Bao Damani , the Electabuzz!
