You are so welcome! I don't know if I invited you or not but I have a Facebook Photography page and a website where I feature my artwork. I have not been on here for a while so I can't remember who I have told things to and who I haven't. I know what you mean.  It's that familiar sound of the wild, a reminder that behind the glamorous plastic wrapped geo-morphed society we live in.  Nature is there and she embraces everything with her never ending beauty.

There was a place I used to take my dog [Bandit], in virginia, after it snowed.  The silence was so loud you could hear the snow rubbing across the surface of the ground, in the wind, and Bandit's heavy breathing from running so fast.  No semi truck noises and no car alarms.  I imagine that there are places like this in northern Siberia, as per the 'Planet Earth' movie, 'out now' on blueray, lol.

You understand exactly what I mean. I look forward to my hikes on the many trails in Tahoe, both for the beauty and the solitude.
