Nekol, despite the constant teasing of his life in the orphanage,still has a completely innocent look on life. He tends to get into trouble because he just plain doesn't know any better. He will follow someone if they offer to show him something because he has no logical reason not to trust them.

Skittish, jumpy, however you say it, its how Nekol acts. The smallest thing makes him flinch. A book slamming, a twig breaking, a rat squeaking. He is nervous. Always on edge, its hard for him to let his guard down. Its always that worry that somethign will come from behind him. So he is twitchy, flinchy, and skittish.

What else would one be? He doesn't understand how to talk to others. How to fit in. He is uncertain if he even belongs. but he tries. He tries his best. Uncertainty is a major obstacle for the young cat. He gets an idea, thinks about it, becomes uncertain about its possibilities, and then gives up before starting. He just can't help it.

If one did manage to befriend this tom, to earn his trust, his true colors would be revealed. When given the chance, he will relax enough to act like the child he is. He loves to draw. Loves to play games. Hide and seek is actually one of his favorite games. He doesn't know anyone who would play with him though, and is alone in the school, but he does day dream about playing.

Obvious fact, but still needs describing. Everythign about him is feminine. From his skinny, fragile body frame, to his voice. Everything in between. He even walks like a girl. He tends to think less about macho things and more about girly things. Could be his upbringing as well. Being treated like a gil can do that to oneself.

History
"Femboy Femboy!"

Nekol kept his ears flat as he ran up the stairs of the building he called home. Dropped off by his brother the day he was born, he had been raised here for ten weeks. Kite would make weekly visits whenever he could, and Nekol adored those days. But the rest of the time, the small boy was at the mercy of his housemates. And there was no mercy. He found himself cornered against the railing on the second story balcany. Four of his male housemates advanced on him. Makeup, skirts, and dresses held in their paws, a plan to dress him up just as girly as he looked and acted. He shook his head, tears streaming in fear. Pushing back too much, he found himself tumbling head over heels towards the floor below. A twisting motion, and he landed gracefully on his paws, and stared upwards. The caretakers urged him away, and his brother was contacted.

Nekol never knew his mother, father, or Chide, his other brother. His mother died when he was born,his father and brother abandoned the family when his mother became pregnant. Nekol was taken to the orphanage by Kite, his only relative remaining, and watched over. But life at the orphanage wasn't too much fun for the boy. He looked feminine, imensly so, and as such, he was a target for bullies. Bruises were common for him when he was young, victims of housemate ambushes and he was forced to wear the clothes that would normally be seen on she-cats. The caretakers tried to protect him, and this only proved bad, as now he has no real idea of what to watch out for.

When he was 4 months, 16 weeks, his brother came to visit him. He had been summoned after another incident at the orphanage, where his baby brother had been caught trying to run away. Confronted, Nekol admitted he was scared. He couldn't sleep in his bed without waking up in the woods or other places. He was scared to take a bath, for fear he would be grabbed and forced into clothes he hated. He was fearful for his own well being. Kite spoke withthe caretakers, and at 4 months, Nekol was adopted by his own brother,and joined him athis home.

From 4 months to 7 months, Nekol discovered many things about himself, his brother, and the world. He learned he had some magic of his own, and began to hone it. He loved to watch his brother work in his shop, and tried his own hand, but was never too good at it. Bullying still occured, but now he could run to his brother. At 7 months, Kite gave Nekol a weapon to have at all times. Hidden as a necklace, the dagger encased in a ornate casing, he wore it at all times, and was finally allowed out into the world on his own.

Now at 8 months, Nekol is learning more, having fun, and getting into trouble. But he loves it.
