Sex is getting out of the bedroom to invade every part of our society. We see it on magazines, TV, cinema and in advertising... girls dressing&dancing almost like prostitutes, mums dressing their babies like they were adults...

Sex is not a sign of love, at least nowadays and that makes me sad. I guess it's easier to open legs than to develop an interesting personality...

I know. My mum got a new boyfriend and all they talk about is sex. In my opinion, I think it is gross, and if you want children, you have to do it. I don't think it is meant for pleasure.

I don't agree with you in that part. Sex is not gross and yes, it's meant for pleasure. When, and only when, love is involved. When you make love you're discovering every little part of your boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife. You're giving them, and receiving at the same time, everything you and he/she has to gave you: body&soul. And... it can be fun!

If you imagine all the sweat and fluids, yes it seems it's gross. When I was a kid even kissing seemed gross to me. But it's your imagination, in real life, if you love the other person and are attracted to her everything will feel natural. The other person will not be an extension to yourself but a BIG part of you.

As I said in other comment, sex isn't and shouldn't be the only way to express love to someone else (that's really disgusting) and we shouldn't feel the urge to do it all the time because then it looses its significance and we turn in just animals...

But sex is love. I hate it when people use it just for pleasure. Or as a way of life... that's gross...

Yes, I think the same way. Sex is love, but in our current society, people DO use it as a way of like and for pleasure.

How romantic! I'm so addicted to sex in our society. Sex is for something for two people who truely love one another romantically to express their love in PRIVATE. NOT to be spread around for everyone to see. That's why I've made a personal decision from young age to wait till I'm married, partially because of my religion but I think I'd wait even if I wasn't religious.

I don't believe that someone has to marry to have the right to have sex. I don't believe in marriage but in true love (one is not equal to the other, unfortunately).

Anyway, I respect your decision and I understand why you think that way. But, if you think about it, how will you know that the person you married is compatible with you if you don't get to that level of intimacy?

For me, sex is the most profound way to love another person (we give our body and soul to the other, we put our true self in the hands of the other and we become vulnerable), not the only way, of course, but it should be the most meaningful one.
