Aragão is fiercely protective to the ones he loves. Family or friends. He will go to great lengths to ensure their safety. He is loyal to his wife and daughter, and will do anything to protect them.
Aragão is confident in his abilities as a leader, hunter, intuitions, and is not afraid to take charges in other situations when necessary. He have pride in his on lineage, as well as his beauty. Aragão takes great pride in his family (wife and daughter) and his role as a husband and father. He is also pride of is strength and abilities. Aragão can be harsh at times, especially when it comes to deal with strangers because he is afraid that they could harm his family. Especially Raina. Friends, acquaintances or strangers, he can also be harsh, especially if he doesn't agree with something that could have negative consequences. Aragão is a stubborn wolf who is not easily swayed from his beliefs or decisions. Argumentative, Aragão, is not afraid to speak his mind and wil argue his point until he is satisfied that he has been heard. Inquisitive, he is always curious about the world around him and is constantly seeking new knowledge and experiences.

History:

Aragão was the son of the leaders of his pack. He grew up in the desert, where his pack roamed the vast expanse of the area. Being the son of the leaders and the only son, the responsibilities of a future he did not want fell to him.
Since he was born, he had been taught to be a leader and bring strength and prosperity to his pack. However, his pack was cursed from the beginning of time. There were stories that were told. But the stories weren't legends or tales... because something always ended up happening.
Wolves, but….mainly young wolves and puppies, were lured into the ocean by a mysterious force that was said to be related to the ocean spirit. The wolves believe that the force was a vengeful spirit that would stop at nothing to drive them away from their territory. The exact nature of the force was never fully understood, but was said to be a powerful and malevolent entity.
The older ones said that their pack tried to leave that territory many times, but that they always ended up returning to the same place or similar areas. They felt weak or sick, to be able to walk further, or something was pulling them back closer to the Ocean, once again.
It's almost an endless struggle, in which, until they disappear completely, that spirit wouldn't rest. They must have done something very horrible, but the story of that event was lost in time. It was something that Aragão did not accept. He could not have been born with his destiny already set. But living day to day in that reality ended up becoming normal, because deep down, that was normal for all of them.
As a teenager, Aragão met a she-wolf. She lived alone, without a defined destiny. She went wherever she wanted, and she seemed happy. At that time she was passing through the desert area near his territory and when Aragão saw her, he was not indifferent. She was so beautiful in his eyes.
Her name was Évora, and she went to visit him almost every day. Between several encounters away from the eyes of his pack, the friendship between the two young wolves became love.
Aragão didn't want Évora to join the pack, so he was determined to run away with her. They were already adults, everything was going to be fine.
But in his head, the stories about those who tried to escape in vain never left his thoughts.
He felt that his parents were suspicious, that something wasn't right with him. He couldn't disguise very well, the days of trying to escape were so close.

The day has arrived.

Évora waited for him, in the same place they always met. Aragão took a deep breath when he saw her and smiled. It was time. He felt quite nervous. He couldn't help it and knew that Évora noticed his anxiety, but she supported him and in silence they walked away from there.
They travelled all night, never stopping until they were far away from his old home. He couldn't believe he'd managed to escape! They eventually settled in a small cave near a lake, where they started a new life together with the good news that Évora was pregnant. From this gift that was given to them, Raina was born some time later.
