Description I lay on the floor and waited for that manta ray to swim by, but I didn't realize how well I'd capture him in this photo. I am so excited about this photo

I took this photo at the Royal Towers of the Atlantis Hotel in The Bahamas. This is the largest aquarium in the western hemisphere. It was stunning, with floor to ceiling viewing areas. Taking a photo of Ironhide 'standing' there was a given We were there in June 2009.

Wow, what an incredible shot!!! The title caught my attention quickly; the lost civilisation of Atlantis has always intrigued me. But having Ironhide in the pic with such a stunning background...it's brilliant! I don't think I'll be removing this goofy grin for a while.

OMG! This picture is totally awesome! I wonder what other people were thinking when they saw you lying on the ground with your camera aiming at a toy in front of the tank. The picture looks pretty amazing, and the blue color is so beautiful... Old 'Hide must enjoy his trip very much, I bet.

whoah! that ray is really huge! i just seen littles in my life, the only thing big was a hammer-head shark.
The picture really nice, i love marine creatures and how the deep colour of ironhide is featuring his body.

The ray was enormous. I just loved watching him! I like how the blue is reflecting off of Ironhide's armor

It's supposed to be magnificent. We went to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago that last time we made it to Botcon. THAT is an awesome place. Conveniently it is next to the Field Museum too which I also love. They have The Ghost and the Darkness there.

Oh wow~ Manta rays are some of the most breath-taking animals of the sea, and you captured such an amazing shot of one. When I popped into my inbox when I got home from work and saw this, I can honestly say I was awe-struck for a good long while. The colour and tone of it all is just so enchanting. The peaceful way the fish are simply gliding by, suspended in a world of their own... *sigh* I really do love the wonders of the sea. Having good ole Ironhide in there is a great bonus.

Oh wow, thank you so much I LOVE manta rays and there were two of them in this aquarium. We watched them for hours, they were so beautiful. We were sitting there watching them and I had Ironhide in my purse from some earlier photos and I realized this would be an excellent shot for him. I didn't realize I'd get such a good shot, so I was ecstatic when the photo turned out so well I love the way the blue of the water reflects off of his armor

You're very, very welcome~ You're so lucky to have seen manta rays in a semi-upclose and personal kind of way. I've only seen them in books or on TV. To see them for real... *sigh* You lucky ducky. The photograph turned out so well, you should be so proud. This is practically like a once-in-a-lifetime shot. I doubt there will ever be an opportunity exactly like this one in the future, especially one that turns out so perfectly.

I feel lucky too I doubt I'll be able to set up a photograph like this again. Even if I went back to the same place, I wouldn't be able to get this shot again.

Yup! I do carry Ironhide everywhere with me. I have a purse just for him so that when something like this comes up, I can just grab him and take the shot
