Description
In light of Michael Bay saying the 2013 reboot will have the Turtles as aliens, I decided to whip up a quick sketch of what Leo might look like in the new reboot.If this is what he and the other Turtles look like, I'll definitely go see it.

Nice design. Take away the swords and the bandana then I could see it giving a Guyver a problem.
As for the new turtles movie, I am one for a new movie, but its true they are going to be aliens I wont watch it.

Micheal bay doing Ninja Turtles horrifies me. I can just see it now, an hour and a half about april and some random idiot random male character, running from the action, while the turtles fight in blurry shakey vision.

Nice work Rayzilla, though even a awesome, and funny, pic like this can't make me get over Michael Bay's single minded quest to mutilate my childhood XD. First transformers, now Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...Whats next? Voltron? He-Man? She-Ra? The man must be stopped! >_<

Well, to his credit, he got the Transformers' origin correct. (And personally, I liked the TF movies, despite their flaws, but to each their own).
There's actually an article that clears things up, basically saying that he tripped over his own words, that the Ooze is supposed to be alien in origin. Plus, I could understand it from a metaphorical standpoint, that the Turtles are noticeably different from humans, they're "alien" in comparison (if I'm making any sense from that).

Sorry if I got carried away there, not really a big fan of Bay's work, but like you said, to each their own. They did get the origin right, and the special effects were great but...I didn't like what they did with the Cybertronian characters, & the humans characters were annoying lol
Anywho, while I prefer that the ooze have an earthly origin, I can overlook the idea of the ooze being an alien biproduct like in the most recent cartoon series. Though I assume that implies Shredder is gonna be an alien brain thing in a robot suit like in the cartoon if that's the case...Hope I'm wrong cuz I preferred the evil human ninja version of him best lol. As long as the turtles aren't LITERAL space turtles, I can live with the change (though as always I shall be VERY wary of Bay's work before seeing it lol).

Well, the ooze having an alien origin doesn't mean the Shredder will be an alien, as the ooze had an alien origin in the 1984 original comics, as well (being a bi-product of the Utroms), and in those comics, Shredder was indeed a human being. Heck, actually, even in the 1987 cartoon, it had an alien origin, since it was made by Krang (who wasn't from Earth, but from Dimension X), though in this case it was made on purpose rather than by accident.
However, all that aside, I still don't know if that's what Bay really meant or not. He said the Turtles "come from an alien race". I don't see HOW that can be interpreted any other way than them actually being aliens. =/
My only hope is that Michael Bay is just trolling the fanbase by lying about the origin (I heard he did this with the Transformers sequels, too), but on the other hand... with Bay's track record, I can believe that he's really changing them into aliens, too. >_<
