I really like the lines on this! They are so smooth and clean. The shading on this is just beautiful! The shading is masterly done, highlighting the wonderful features of this piece of art! The color choices really go well together. I especially like the way that the eye was drawn. It has the sparkle that really adds to the drawing! I really hate MLP. It's the anime of horses, teaching people NOT to learn horse anatomy, but to instead draw fuckugly blobs.

By that logic all cartoons are teaching us how not to draw humans. Not with 5 fingers but instead with 4, nipples are optional, the head can be as big as you want it to be any shape you desire, skin can be any random color, etc.
And lets not get into woman's anatomy in anime.

But MLP:FiM design actually works in its favor. The fact that they don't look like ponies makes it easier to separate from old generations so the male audience accepts it more, and it gives the opportunity to make the facial expression that made the show popular in the first place. If they actually looked like horses, people will think is G3 and avoid it like the plague.
