At Stavropoleos street, in Bucharest (Romania) you can find two interesting touristic places, the Stavropoleos Monastery and the Caruβ cu Bere is a brewery that was opened in 1899 here. This is therefore also a restaurant a place of cultural interest, the most important thing here is not food (that's really good), this restaurant is a must if you go to Bucharest for its history and art inside. Mosaic floors, painted glass, wood, a feast for the eyes. Highly recommended, essential.Related content

yes, the food is really good, but is not traditional anymore... in the past, they where served only "food for beer" : mici, carnaciori, pastrama sarata, etc...now only the caru' cu bere name remains and the fact that is more than 100 years old. the rest is just modern marketing. there are many brewerys in bucharest (not so old) better than this, where you can find good quality beer, music, food...
